control and is a priceless commodity, once sold it is hard to recover.
I would suggest going the perl route or a higher quality of life.
If the perl team is not a good team, go back to the microsoft shop,
they are plentiful and probably wont remeber you original resume anyway...
To adjust for the pay, just don't spend any moneys you don't actually have.
When you money is depleted stop spending it.

Who has the legal right to sell its ownership of XenSource? If Novell can do this to Microsoft, I would like to be the first chap to offer the world "My cool RPM System". It is the same RPM system that RedHat spent the last 13 years building. But mine is special. Whats the difference? If you don't use mine, I get to sue you.
I can run quake4 on my Linux system today. Microsoft is allied with SuSE to sue all users of any version of Linux that is not SuSE in the future. This strategy was not successful for SCO however Microsoft has much more money.

But the Linux kernel accounts for the lion share of the symbiotic relationship between those other projects and the allocation of those precious resources which they all require.
ok granted Steve Jobs has put his foot in his mouth before "We apologize for toasting the Pentium II in public." but why would he state clearly in his keynote address that he has positioned osx as the technology to run apple hardware for the next decade? Also, why would they hide the sourcecode if it is dead to them? This is just the wet-dream of a Microsoft culture, who would rather be fed introveneously by the Microsoft matrix of managed code, than to build their own _spoon_ construct.
its sad to watch us as consumers of this technology, without access to the xnu or gcc source for Intel arch, we are unable to work around any of the flaws mentioned in this article and once again hope Apple is persistant in their efforts to stabilize their code. Lets recap, Intel is pointing out thirty-something hardcoded flaws which they are unwilling to address, apple has forked their Darwin source code to hide all intel source from the public and only share a dead architecture to _innovate_ on, and we are eating it up like the kids in willy wonka's coco factory all fixated on some new secret candy with drool dripping down our shirts in diabetic coma......pretty sad if you ask me, Apple's advertisements keep pushing "We have freed the intel chip" when in reality the intel chip will never be open again. What does slapping DRM/TPM/EFI on a chip do to free it exactly? I will continue running Linux on my open intel chip as it is free to be added to or subtracted from as needed by me, not Steve, Bill, or the lawyers they control.

quake4 is not subject to any restrictions of the GPL today,
and I can run it on my Linux machine today.
