    I agree with hal9000. Don't do an MBA without work experience. The few students in my MBA program that came straight from undergrad contribute the least to the rest of us.
    And, yes you can do an MBA as a 30-something with a family. It's not pleasant, but it's possible.

    Proselytizing is always annoying only if you don't agree with the subject matter. For example, I can listen to Richard Dawkins proselytize about science all day, but I don't want someone trying to convert me to homeopathy.
    Because this is /. there is an assumption that open source is generally considered a good thing.

    Face it, it's as obnoxious as all those little Mormon Missionary Wannabes. Find your validation from within.

    Your analogy is slightly off because the little Mormon Missionary Wannabes were mostly born into it and don't know any better.
    Open Source Zealots have mostly chosen their belief system based on the fact that open source is free and it usually does the same job as closed software.

    As someone who runs Wine and Vista, I have had more problems getting things to run under Wine than Vista; but I have had more problems overall with Vista than with Wine.

    Think about this for a second: the best place on earth, and still scared of what the government might do to me.

    I'd have to debate that 'best place on earth' label. Sure, it's a pretty good place to live, and there are lots of places much worse, but it's not the best place on earth.

    Signing a contract granting them full ownership of your work was the the first wrong move, unless you didn't do that. Then there's nothing to worry about; they're just trying to take advantage of you.
