Correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe anyone actually designed facial recognition for "security". Last I checked it was advertised as ease of use. Also since when is using pictures considered hacking???
I don't get it. Other then dial up users how many people are ever really "Offline"? With internet access so easily accessible this seem like a bit of a waste.
OK. So energy waves can travel through all forms of matter. Although I think a wave of light that can travel through a foot of concrete may do some damage to whatever is in its path. Plus the whole Line of site thing doesn't appeal much to me.
I always had a problem, when going into a store to buy a product, I would tend to assist more of their customers regarding computers than any of their sales people. And on top of that I generally had to hunt down a manager to get what I came for.
MACs are vista with good hardware. Spend the same amount of $$ on a PC as you do on a MAC you will have the same end result. I am waiting for the day a nice worm wipes the smug off of mac users. For those who haven't seen it check out youtube "Happy Nowhere" mac parody.
I am personally starting to lean towards if you do not want your music or Ideas out there for people to do with as they please keep them to your self. As soon as your work is out there for the masses there is no control. People are always gonna steal. People are always gonna cheat. The removal of DRM from I tunes will help significantly but when you take people like college students to have a hard enough time paying for books with unlimited internet and cheap MP3 players What else is gonna happen?
What stardock game are you talking about/ Sins only requires a key for updates. Once you have the update you can in stall it on any installation of the game at any time. Sins is DRM free.
I have cox and a TIVO HD series 3. I got 2 cable cards from cox at $1.99 a month. I love it. I can then transfer the recording to the PC for later use.

For the most part it is worth it for the easy of dragging hi def shows off the tivo. I can do almost anything with them after.
