Bah - the controllers were the coup-de-grace in terms of "no supply problems". Yes, they got more units out there than Sony - no argument there - but cripes, I've been in countless stores in TWO STATES - and nada Wiimotes. Hell it took me 3 weeks to secure a USED classic controller. Um - that's a problem when Sony has Sixxaxis controllers and other accessories in plentiful stock. Granted you can argue that the Wiimotes are required for a system that is basically a party-console, which is all fine and good - but you're telling me Nintendo didn't think of making - um - EXTRA CONTROLLERS for just that same argument?

Wow - you must think Nintendo is a bigger bunch of idiots than I do! Hats off to ya!

No but you do have to swap blocks. If you're going to save a VC game to the external memory - don't expect to play it. If your primary ram then is full (why else would you buy extra memory in the first place?), then you have to (a) backup a different game to the external card (b) erase it from primary memory (c) copy the card-saved VC game to primary memory where now you can play it.

Fucking simple - Wii - it's for casual gamers!

Anyday. Don't think for a minute that since Sony got nailed that this crap is off the plate. The vendor that enabled Sony's scheme certainly had to have more than 1 client involved, or at least it'd be a safe bet. What isn't a safe bet is exposing my various CPUs that I depend on for income to the ilk that "might" still be out there. It's not a fact as much as a hunch. To me the Sony debacle seems to me to be a case of "the one that got caught".

At that point, I pretty much went with iTunes 100 percent for my purchases, and audiophilism be damned - it's decent enough for my ears (lord knows why AAC has it all over Mp3s - is it the master tapes Apple touts? - I'd love to know).
