well to be fair, i had one of those GM cars with the ignition switch issue. the only thing is to me it was not a bug but a feature. I could start my car, lock it back up with it running and keep the key on me. this is great on days like today that are -20 with the wind. (not as nice as a remote start obviously but still)

If you cant drive and focus on driving simply because they key pops out of the ignition, well you got bigger problems in life anyway

Before anyone asks: we've been down most of the day because of a disk that went bad in one of our servers. Siteops has been slaving away at a lengthy restore, and hopefully we're good to go, now. Apologies!

by Soulskill (1459) Works for SlashdotAlter Relationship on Tuesday February 10, 2015 @08:36PM (#49026143) Homepage
It was more than a simple hardware failure -- the storage cluster software we're using had an issue that not only obliterated data, but managed to take out its own repair functionality. We had proper backups and didn't lose anything permanently, but had to do a much larger rebuild than if a disk just died.

While most of those kinks have been worked out there was a good 5 year period where you were mandated to buy low flow, but they didnt work. the work around was to cut the pipe in the back allowing the tank to fill fully, but its not something that should have even happened
