It's funny how the government is so worried about the effects of spam e-mails, however they tend not to worry too much about all this junk mail sent out all the time. (most of which goes straight to my shredder without even being opened) i'm sure if they were able to profit from junk e-mails they wouldn't care a thing about the environmental impact.
well, right now when you call india, i mean "dell tech support" it takes approximately 4 hours to get the simplest thing with windows fixed. Imagine how much harder it is going to be to get good tech information out of them concerning linux for the regular user.

sure spam is annoying, however this physical mail is just as annoying, if not more since i can't just "delete" these credit card offers (half of which spell my name the same horrible spelling so i know they're selling that name around like crazy)
but the government lets that slide since they are making money off of it. they dont make money off of e-mails flying around.
why not do something about this REAL junk mail that's actually a harm to our physical environment?

except a lot of places will use one cashier for multiple self checkout machines, and unless she has 4 sets of arms, eyes, etc, this isn't such a great solution is it mr "I NEED CAPS TO MAKE INVALID POINTS"
enough food to survive and medicine to not be sick is something that this world DOES have enough resources to provide for everyone, unfortunately the people that inhibit it don't want to share.
