Kinda like the whole story that focuses on one area of a continent instead of the whole continent and uses that as proof the whole continent it that way even when it is measured that it is not. The area they always use is a unstable part of Antarctica. Using it as the model for the whole continent is like using a desert to judge the state of the continent. The whole article is a garbage piece and an example of how low the AGW people will go to keep the money rolling, bending the very science they claim as "FACT!" or "indisputable".

You can taste the air, with a sulfur like taste to it. You sometimes can't see across the street. They have to hold flights regularly at major airport in China because smog has decrease visibility too much. Beijing's air is measured 16 times MORE polluted then New York's. 16 of the 20 worst air polluted cities are in China. I don't have to draw conclusions when the facts say so. That's like saying it's my conclusion that water is wet, ice is cold, and fire is hot.

I think you are reading some reports from around the time the Olympics were in Beijing, the same reports that were proven to be bogus, and falsified to secure the Olympics for China.

Even Al Gore's mentor, the supposed god father of green house gases, reversed his stance on the subject in the later years of his life. How did Gore accept this? By calling him senile. If you are such a patron of science then why would you accept stats that are micro managed and manipulated to get an outcome worse then what the facts show? Really, it's become beyond the level of religious zealotry as people now a days can ever admit they are wrong. Science is changing every environmental measurement scale to make things seem more extreme? Look that up. Tornadoes and hurricanes now have factored in the amount of damage they do. So a F3 tornado on the old scale becomes a F5 because it hits a more heavily populated area. Same with earthquake scales. Now winter storms are receiving names even though I remember storms just as bad in my youth, now they are "extreme!!!" Tropical storms are now "SUPERSTORMS!!!". The kicker is we are less then a year past the IPCC models to be proven wrong and they still are hammering home that their prediction are still correct even though there was scientific proof that no significant warming to place in the last 15+ years. You can't tout science till it doesn't agree with your stance because it makes you a hypocrite and makes the people that ignore it seem like they are out for money and nothing else. I was like the CC community touting Gore as the messiah till his hypocritical action were pointed out, then it was "well he isn't really a scientist, and he doesn't stand for all CC believers". I akin it to fans of certain baseballers not wanting to admit the players they are big fans of did steroids to reach the level they did.

For one they have increased traffic, making "catching the light" next to impossible on most roads. Second, they changed the cycle of the lights to where one direction has a green and the opposite will have a red with no indication to the motorist on the red light side, especially the ones pulling out of corner gas stations and stores, that on coming traffic has a green light. I see at least 3 near hits a week at one on my drive in to work each morning and considering how close it's to the intersection, I would say it would be considered a intersection incident. Third, timing these lights is next to impossible. One close to my house when they first put it in would stay red for the more busy street for over 3 minutes (Once timed it at 4 minutes and 10 seconds early in the morning). When it was messed up I would see 5 to 6 people a week get tired of waiting and blow the red. Heck I did it more then once. So coming to one of these light, you never know when it's going to change. When there was no sensor or cameras, then timing the lights that were on a set timer was a lot easier. Now? Next to impossible.

The Numi plant in California was a Toyota/GM(Pontiac) plant till Pontiac ceased to be and that was no secret. I don't recall any of that being "hidden" or misrepresented in any way. It's been out there for a while. If you as a consumer didn't pick up on it or missed it, then that's your deal. You also have it pretty wrong in regards to who "built" the cars. Components of the cars were done by other manufacturers, but final assembly was done by the actual maker of the cars unless you are talking about europe. In the state, even in the Numi plant, Toyota workers built the Toyota and Pontiac workers built the Pontiac.
