No, I would say that the dumbing down of the entire world has taken place. I think it's done on purpose, as some believe a dumb society is easier to fool and rule. I also believe people accept things at face value and discount the facts surrounding things even when the facts points to the conclusion being incorrect. Our education systems don't tell students to question anything any more, which stifles progression and innovation. That with the addition of copyrights being applied in fanatical ways and we get what we have, a growing population that questions nothing and accepts being treated like criminals or second class citizens, all while chanting the mantra of their oppressors.

Funny, the last two years when we had record cold the cult of climate change claimed that the US temps didn't represent the overall temperature of the world, local not global I think I recall the rally cry to be. But now since it's warm it's "FUD!!" time? You'll have to excuse me, I am an educated free thinking person with common sense that actually looks at facts and can spot hypocrisy. Probably why I am not much for religion.

Yep and the media is A SMALL PART of the overall population. So if the media is misinformed so much, then does that mean that the climate change isn't really happening or that they are wrong about it being so dire? Cause last time I check the media is "all in" on climate change. So which is it then? They went to the same schools, schools that push climate changes as "fact!" and ignore data like I posted. Can't be both ways, of course unless you're a hypocrite? Or is it that "you don't really seem to understand that."?

The story talked about the media getting it wrong, not every day people. How the hell is your comment "insightful" in any way when you used it as a sounding board to claim people are ignoring "actual data" on global warming? (course I thought it was climate change still when the "data" didn't reflect the name) What about the "facts" on the warmest year every claim? Satellite temps ignored (which I am pretty sure is data and science all in one) NASA saying it has a 38% chance of being right (that's not even 50/50, which is rather shitty odds on it's own) or that the .02 Celsius warmer had a tolerance of ±.1 degree. So are we to ignore math and how it work to and accept flawed data that is pretty clear to see in just the publishing of the facts surrounding it?

So I find it funny that you are calling people out for the same exact thing you seem to be doing. Hey, I bet you even use the term "deniers" too, which last time I checked is a religious term and has nothing to do with science. Thanks again for proving your level of stupidity. It's real simple. When TIDES are HIGH, if MORE WATER is ADDED to the system, IT'S GOING TO FLOOD till the TIDE rescinds. So are we supposed to ignore that the Marshall Islands get 160+ inches of rain a year with most falling from May to November??? Logic would tell you that it getting heavy rains and being near sea level would lend itself to flooding. Add to that tides are a result of the gravitational pull of the moon and the sun, which can only happen a maximum of twice a month, so the "more frequent" claim is utter rubbish. Is climate change changing gravity now too??? Australia has monitors all over down there and the data is available quite easily. Those show some pretty common numbers when charted with no great rise like has been claimed.

ITS MATH!!!! When a tolerance is bigger then the number claimed that means the number claimed has NO CHANCE of being even close to accurate. The tolerance given was enough that it could have also been the coldest year ever. NASA produced those numbers after the first announcement and barely any news source posted them, because frankly it would pour water on the flames of the claim. It's false advertising. Seriously, look up tolerances and how they work. Science is and always has been debatable otherwise we'd all think the world was still flat. Nasa said that number had a 38% chance of being right and a accuracy tolerance of ± .1 degree Celsius. That's pretty simple math there. No need for Newton's laws or Einstein's theories. When a tolerance is higher then the number claimed, do you know the chances of that number being right? If you think it could lots of engineers and mathematicians the world over would like to have a chat with you.
