    I was actually trying to be funny, but I agree with you, I think that those of us who are still tied to windows for some tasks should be sticking with XP until Microsoft decides exactly how they are going to make vista work. Of course, the idea is to make sure that something is working BEFORE you release it, but when has microsoft ever gotten that right?

    So pretty much what everybody is trying to say is that the government is trying to introduce another useless piece of legislation that completely goes against what we believe in as a capitalist society.
    I think that we all know that this bill will eventually stifle innovation and strangle large companies. You get what you pay for.

    I think that the focus of our comments should be on the governments that blatantly restrict human rights. If you think about it it isn't so different from what the Bush Administration is doing right now. I think that people should be worried about the way that American Civil Rights are going. What can we do about it? We can write letters to congress and senators, and tell the Bush White House that they have to obey the law too. Every American deserves their rights. They cannot be taken away for they are in the Constitution. Make yourself heard, write.

    Yes I agree. I am a High School Honors Student and I have seen all this first hand. I know that all computer classes are about using word. It's obscene. I think that I was lucky to find programming 1. All people know how to do is sign on to instant messenger and post things on myspace. That's about it. Most of them don't even have coherent writing skills. The education system in our country is crumbling, and it's all happened recently. No child left behind = everyone learns with the idiots.

    yes I agree. The Bush Administration is turning our democratic nation into a Police State. I think that this is absolutely abhorrent and that the government is just trying to take away more and more of our rights.

    lol. Right. Well, I certainly understand what you are trying to say. I think that both spammers and stupid people are both going to be forever part of life. However, seeing as spammers are aleady intelligent people, it is merely a matter of effectively educating those who the tech savvy would consider stupid. How's that for an effective course of action?

    Yeah, it's sad, but a lot of people are stupid. People will enter their eBay passwords anywhere where there is an eBay logo. As one technique becomes inaffective, the spammers think of new ones. It's really a loosing battle that we are all trying to fight.

    Yeah I agree. There is going to be a need for the CD-R for a while. However I hate it when there are programs distributed on like 20 cd's. Some things need to be on DVD's. But no, the CD isn't dead yet.
