    millions of people around the world are suffering because they don't have access to information that is freely available on the internet, and still there are idiots out there who want to have their search results filtered.

    Having your information filtered against your will != choosing a filter for your information. Every time you use a search engine, you're filtering data, otherwise, it will just be a list of sites on the Internet. These sites just start with a pre-defined filter.

    I'm aware of their 50mb service, but it is only 10mb upload. This is 50 up, 50 down. There are a large number of people that need that upload speed just as much, if not more, than the download speed.

    Bullshit. Show me a Comcast service that has over 20mb upload, let along 50m, 100m, or 100m. Not everyone cares about download more than upload ability.

    As an Xbox 360 owner (but not a Zune owner), "The Delta" for me is Xbox LIVE integration. I don't know if it will be enough to replace my iPhone, but from what I can see, it would be the only reason I'd consider it. That said, while I might forgive copy & paste to get to Xbox LIVE, I won't give up multitasking for it.

    Actually, it more shows how many different games you play. I try for 1000/1000 on most of my games, but I have very few games. A friend I have never gets much more than 300-400 per game (the easy ones), but has 10x the games I have, so he has a much higher gamer score without being in front of the TV more than me. Some people rent games and end up with a very high gamer score.

    To date, 100% of the time it's driver error.

    So, the state cop that died with his family in California couldn't tell the difference between a break and gas pedal over the course of the time it took to call 911? Bullshit. I've also been in a late 90's Grand Cherokee that was at a complete stop, watched it suddenly accellerate forward and had the throttle wide open while the driver held both feet on the break. I knew it was the break, because we didn't move any farther forward once he put both feet on it, but it did take 15 seconds until the engine went back down.

    Also, nobody's getting sued for cross-over pollination. That's a myth started by farmers who knowingly propagated seed against their contract, got caught, and lied about it

    Tell that to Mr. Schmeiser. Never bought their product and was sued by Monsanto because THEY contaminated HIS field. http://www.percyschmeiser.com/ Sounds like you just don't want to accept that Monsanto really is as evil as they appear.

    And, those that are not choosing GM seeds are being pollinated by them, then getting sued by Monsanto. Don't get me wrong, I think that GM foods are perfectly safe. I do not buy GM foods, though, because I know that the production of them puts some farmers out of business and destroys the environment though "roundup-ready" farming, which is basically spraying herbicide on everything and killing all non-GM plants in the field and eventually downstream.

    Every computer maker has to deal with the fact that most end-users buy the cheapest and have to cut costs. So, the basic, included for "free" support is going to be where it is cheaper, overseas. If you want more expensive support, you must pay more. Why is that sad?

    Oddly enough, ICANN resisted this for a long time, and was accused of being anti-porn. I even recall their opposition to this as part of the reason that the US needs ICANN taken away and given to the United Nations. If that is the choice, give them .xxx.

    Fixed that for you. That isn't murder, that is a terrible mistake.

    Still, for us to have that debate here is fine. Back to my original point, Wikileaks should just present that information for people like you and I to debate. When they distribute it with a slant on it, they give places like the Pentagon legitimacy. If they just posted it out there, their point about allowing information to be free can be trusted.

    There are rules of engagement in war. From what I saw, the US troops followed the rules. That van was not marked as an ambulance. It was a black van driving in giving assistance to what the gunner thought were hostile troops. The video also points out that some of the men that were killed WERE armed. It isn't a hard leap to assume a shoulder-mounted box is an RPG when you see assault rifles on the men next to him.

    These guys were in a active warzone. They weren't strolling around with kids and dogs running about, the streets were empty. They walked in the middle of a battle and were mistaken for the enemy. It is tragic, but it was preventable, like most "friendly fire" cases.

    Not in the video itself. The website claims "murder". Murder is much different than mistaking journalists for hostiles that were operating in the same area.

    Agreed. Post the video, but leave out disinformation in the editorial on the place that you're posting it (i.e. collateralmurder.com). Let the bloggers and news places add their own editorial and start digging for truth once the video is released.

    I agree with you in some cases. However, some times the people that have been getting their way for centuries though fear and intimidation start shooting at you when you help the people they prey on. So, do you leave and not do the "good things", or do you shoot back?

    I've thought about that. How hard is it to change bittorrent traffic to look like VoIP traffic? If you go by port numbers (layer 4), it is pretty easy. To get around that, you're talking about Deep Packet Inspection. I'm not sure I want the government running that on every access point into the Internet.
