One of the criteria for "not malware" in Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool is that it has an uninstaller. There are others, but if there's no uninstaller, it's fair game for them to remove.
And yet, I got dirty looks in church on Sunday because I didn't know somebody was seriously ill for a month with pneumonia. Apparently, everybody (but me) has been talking about it on Facebook and if I don't know I'm the bad guy.
Stuffing becomes very obvious once the whole world can check for themselves. Hmm, in this district, candidate A got a similar number of votes as in surrounding counties (10% of the electorate), but candidate B got 90% of voters to come out for him. That's 9× as many as any other county. Hmmm.
And these incompetent operators is what is causing cash to lose credibility. An unregulated, anonymous currency that is stored with unregulated, uninsured entities is immediately a bad idea and people supporting them and then being fleeced by them or their poor security practices and policies is really damaging cash.
Is it? Is it really? I haven't exactly seen a decrease in the use of cash. Though I aslo haven't seen a significant increase either. However among those using it they still seem to be using it.
Stop being so extreme... I already have a car that will not automatically stop without hitting the car in front of me. Yes, in rare cases (extreme stop or someone cutting me off so close the car doesn't see it), I have to respond. But unless I see one of those two scenarios, I just cruise home while chatting hands-free with my wife. And it's wonderful.
Plus, you run the risk of steering your career into a corner from which it's hard to escape. I did C# for 5 years and then a custom Pascal scripting language for 2 years. What did I hear? "You're not a C# developer, you're a xxxxx developer." Um, it's not like I forgot everything I knew or even didn't use it during that time, but it's a resume-killer, so be careful.
Yeah. You can get Netflix and Hulu Plus for $16 / month. You can even add CBS for a few dollars more. Tons to watch. No ESPN (OK, they do have about 1,000 30 for 30 episodes, but some of those are really good even if you're not into sports that much.)
I couldn't set up my daughter's new MacBook Pro on Christmas day. The loading screens were all jacked up and you couldn't press the buttons. It finally worked, but I have never had that problem on ANY Windows machine or even Windows install.
This is the same with me. I just noticed the other day that the copyright notices on my Server's BIOS are from 2009. That's 6 years ago now. And I upgraded my video card for about $200 and play the latest games at the highest settings no problem.
No way you could do this with Apple hardware and software.
Almost everything back to Windows 95 still works fine on Windows in 2015 (20 years later). And stuff before that works fine on DosBox for the most part. And not just games, a friend of mine has a physical machine working just fine from DosBox on a modern Windows PC (and much faster).
I just got my daughter a MacBook and we had to repeat setup 10 times. The screen kept being scrambled and unusable and couldn't continue. Finally, she charged it (it was at 70% but whatever) and after charging the dialog worked fine and we finished setup. Say what?!?
Windows may be bad, but at least I can install it without a problem on millions of possible hardware combinations without issue.
My daughter tried to get me to help her put music on her phone. I tried but I couldn't get it synced up (something about Apple IDs). After an hour, I told her to take it to the Apple store. The rest of the Androids in the house took 5 minutes to load all our music.
Replacing bad RAM on your motherboard absolutely IS fixing your computer. Just like when I replaced the window motor on my car, I bought a $25 sub-assembly and plugged in two wiring harnesses and put in 2 screws. Just because I never used a soldering iron doesn't make it invalid.
Only if you specifically went around saying, "We're having you deposit money in our bank accounts so we can get around money laundering laws... Freedom to the people and down with the law..."
That's a paraphrase, but the judge in this case specifically said that he's going to jail because he knew he was getting around the law and that people were buying drugs with the money.

It's true. Ever since the ask.com toolbar, I've never seen any developer suggest Java except for Android.
If people don't really want it and only have it because they were tricked, then it's malware.
I don't use Foxit. I've never had this problem. But thanks for the warning.
This is already the case on most phone apps.

Yeah, that's good. That way any bank employee reviewing the contents of your box can take your coins and you will never know for years.
Now ask your grandparents the same questions.
Now ask yourself the same questions about a large amount of cash.

Seems the same to me.

Especially if you use multiple sources instead of copying a single one.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the dominant alien lifeforms are demons, angels, living creatures, God, etc.
Actually, according to Scott Hanselman who works at Microsoft, they are doing the opposite, making full featured .NET plugins for Eclipse, Sublime and even emacs and vim. http://www.hanselman.com/blog/OmniSharpMakingCrossplatformNETARealityAndAPleasure.aspx
How do you like them Apples and Androids?
The sports games and original games were better on Intellivision, but arcade ports rocked on Coleco...
