Trust me. After only a weekend, I can tell you that if you liked Windows 7 and hated Windows 8, you are going to like Windows 10. All of the annoying stuff is gone and all that's left is better speed and battery life.
Well, then you'll be very happy. Because after upgrading my Windows 7 laptop to Windows 10, all I noticed is that it's faster and the battery lasts longer and it's harder for stupid people to run untrusted stuff from the internet. Other than that, it's pretty similar.
The New Testament is very common with 5,000 Greek copies (and all within 400 years of the events, some within 100 years). But after that it drops off quickly. There are 643 copies of Homer's Iliad, but the closest to his writing is over 500 years. There are only 20 copies of Tacitus, but the closest is 1,000 years later. We have only 7 copies of Plato and 5 of Aristotle.
All that to say we might find something incredibly significant in this library. Something we have never had before or something that is a much older copy of something that we already have against which we can check accuracy.
They don't call you back. But I worked for a company that got $88,000 in fines in a single month. So I can assure you they are getting fined. You just need to make sure you get to their actual number instead of the spoofed caller ID.
We have that too. It's at http://donotcall.gov./ And you can register your numbers and it has a simple form to submit complaints. Companies still call by spoofing the caller ID and when you report that number, nothing happens.
What you need to do is go along with them enough, pretend like you want their offer, but then say you heard about phishing so you need a real number where you can call them back. Then report THAT number. They get a fine for $11,000.
Well, the part where they caught Ulbricht responding to a live chat session as DPR with the undercover agent that was a moderator on Silk Road with the screen open and responding when they arrested him is pretty compelling evidence that he was DPR.
I prefer my company laptop to my tablet because it's much faster to type with a keyboard. The tablet is good for reading books or taking on vacation (because I wouldn't miss it if it got stolen), but that's about it.
I've heard of a few companies that just upgraded all the old PCs to SSD and moved the old drive to D:. For $200 each, it's like they have brand new machines.
And conversely, I've had good jobs and enough disposable income that if I wanted to replace my gaming PC, I could have. I did replace my graphics card with a new one a couple years ago. But I was surprised when I looked at the copyright dates on my BIOS the other day and they were from 2009!!! That's six years ago now, and I didn't even notice.
I have arcade joysticks and driving wheels which I also hook up to my PC. It's a lot easier to move the keyboard when it's not attached. Other than that, nothing really.
a new version of Windows significantly faster performing and more secure
Then you'll LOVE Windows 10. Because it's mostly just Windows 7 faster and with more battery life.
You should be able to write a converter that converts most of that stuff to canvas.
What's up with the shit storm of pro Microsoft articles lately?
No one cares about shitty Microsoft tech these days...
They came out with a new Beta?

This is EXACTLY what they did. My Windows 7 upgrade never even asked me for a Microsoft Account. And it's running just fine without one.

In original uncompressed actual HD, I could do that too. Now it has all been compressed to where I can't anymore.
Cops subpoena IP address and it points to your house. Didn't think that one through, did you?
They established the "break it, fix it" pattern with ME and XP. You're probably just not old enough to remember.

What developers care about:
What businesses care about:
This is why FOSS will always be buggy and crashy.
Welcome to the club. Most of us already would never work for the government.
My daughters' school robocalls announcements as well. This is very useful.

Report them to http://donotcall.gov/ anyway.

Neither side is saying they cracked Tor, so I'm not really sure what you are getting at.
And I have a Fry's locally and would pay $2.50 for those same items. Why would I go to Radio Shack and pay $8?
hospitals (hey, we need the money)
Seriously? You guys charge enough. What do you do? Pour the money down a drain?
