It was more smaller quakes can relieve smaller faults but lead to a build up of the stress in bigger faults as the stress from the smaller faults is moved to the bigger ones. It may be possible to manage these quakes if it is possible to drive them with fracking.
This except that there is another possibility as well. These small quakes may not be ultimately relieving or adding stress but transferring it to a different location ultimately leading to a build up of stress along a particular fault without any net input or release of stress until the large quake that would result from the concentrated stress.
Exactly, not every Credit Union is better than a bank. My credit union has been very good to me. My credit card rate drops to zero when there is less than $1000 on the card, my car loan was a point and a half lower than either the dealer or other banks could offer, and they were amoung the lowest mortgage rates my friends could get. I unfortunately can't comment on their mortgages personally though.
It should also be said I have an account with a bank as well because it offers some perks that I appreciate that the credit union doesn't offer.
I can do that from my phone any where in the world that has WiFi. My credit union also pays me ATM fees back up to $5 per transaction. What does your bank do besides suck and be expensive?
More intelligent individuals are also more likely to innovate and find better ways to flourish which would encourage breeding unless there is a downside to the additional intelligence that would counteract that benefit and ultimately inhibit breeding.
Very insightful post. I was having this conversation a few months back about why US game companies had surged past Japanese companies. It boiled down to Japanese companies are releasing the same game with little or no meaningful innovation or progress because if it made money once it will make it again right? Meanwhile US companies were constantly striving for better game play and new mechanics to improve the play experience (or addiction as the case may be).
This is changing. Tablets are finding a place in business especially in places where portability has value and you don't want or need the power of a full laptop implementation.
Except you just finished saying you WOULDN'T stand up for what is right because it would be too much trouble... You said you would quietly hide it away...
Because for many of us science, invention, and knowledge are an end that more than justifies the means. Your entire thought process demonstrates you're not fit for science. If you were correct why would Galileo and Shechtman have ever released or espoused their work?
Unfortunately new discoveries are made all the time. Norton sucks but generally pretends to protect the computer and allows for minimal use of the system. McAfee removes all pretense and just removes the ability to use the computer.
It also depends on what anti-virus you have installed. Some such as Norton and McAffee are worse than most viruses. Some aren't nearly as bloated and heavy and don't impart much impact on typical use.
Mostly yes.

Rule 34 made me giggle.
To be fair your previous statement while taking it to the extreme wasn't that far off base from what a very large portion of the US population thinks.
On on every YouTube page, at the end of every YouTube video, etc..
As well as on every TV and Radio station and probably pioneer beaming it straight into your eyes when you walk down the Mall in D.C.
So you would rather not have them at all?

Selling a found item without making an effort to return the property to the owner makes you a thief.
What evidence was there that it was stolen? Apple never reported it as such.
How much does it use for an hour awake?

Interesting perspective. It certainly works for the vain and greedy, both of which appear to be true here.
I use other people's machines. I don't let Norton or McAfee near my own hardware.
Ever seen a system lock up, kick on the fans, and then start to smoke? Something like that.
Unfortunately the French population today probably has even less staying power than they did in '68...
They only thing I enjoy more than removing both of them from a system preferably with a large magnet is installing both and watching the system melt.

I have seen the light! You, sir, have caused me to repent my wicked ways!

I beg to differ.
In my experience it is significantly worse than Norton.
