This is the basis of the philosophy of objectivism, developed by, among others, novelist Ayn Rand. A good read on the topic is The Virtue of Selfishness, if you want to look into it some more. You're not as radical as you'd like to think ;-)

Surprise! People actually LISTEN to music from vinyl nowadays. Some even claim that the quality is better than other availbile audio formats (although its up for debate). Nobody actually still reads data from a casette tape recorder... I don't even understand what you're suggesting - should said record companies distribute data tapes with their vinyls? Really?? I think their solution is rather elegant. A feasible hard-copy alternative might be to pair a data CD with vinyls.

You obviously haven't been keeping up on the news about what bullshit reasons people have been thrown into Gitmo for. No charge and no trial required. Since he DID hack military computers, it's instantly a threat to 'national security.' Thus, there's more than enough ground, by the current administration's standards, to throw him into Gitmo.

... so why would I want to run Windows on my Mac? And no, I don't care about all the games that are available on Windows.... no time these days.
You just answered your own question. Did you ever think that even though you don't have time for games, there may be other people out there that have time for games and for that reason don't run Mac OS? Don't be silly. I for one, besides just enjoying games, like the idea that I can always find software that runs in windows. I think it's a pain in the ass to wait, for example, for skype w/video to come out for Mac OS. It's out there, and it's on windows. As long as it's that way I don't think I'll ever single-boot a non-windows OS. Don't get me wrong, I wish it weren't that way. I'm very glad for these kinds of advancements. I'll be keeping my eye on those new mac laptops now..
