I would assume it would be a simple device connected to a fully solar electric living space.
If the solar panels and tech behind them keep functioning, the simplest of devices (maybe even a phone connected to an outlet) would have the most longevity.
1. I brought in an old computer I had lying around
2. I asked them to draw what they thought was inside it.
3. Went over the drawings with the class.
4. Blew some minds after opening it.
5. Discussed the parts and related them to the human body as best I could.
The retention was very high when they understood how the processor was like the brain, the hard drive like long-term memory, ram like short-term. The motherboard was like the circulatory system (blood stream). Video card was like the eyes.
This description could have been phrased much more coherently.
Quick info:
Open source Linux driver still much slower than proprietary.
Closed source Linux driver "catching up" to Windows driver.
Basically, we're still the same time-frame away from gaming/graphical work disappearing from the checklist of functional applications on Linux.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Bankers without oversight lie and steal. CEOs without oversight lie and steal. Techs without oversight lie and steal.
Not everyone will follow this path, but you will always have a few.
I don't think you realize how much it costs to put a satellite into space. 2 hours of quick coding probably should be validated by a few different eyes.
Well if the job market is so terrible (for employees) and never getting better, then the obvious thing to do is to exploit that and become an employer. You can hire people for essentially nothing, and rake in huge profits for doing very little work.
This is essentially the problem. Your only primary path to success is a downward spiral where you become the scumbag taking advantage of the misfortunes of your fellow man.
The Logmein Central service makes it extremely easy to manage multiple clients and users on the same interface. That's biggest difference that I've seen.
You've entirely missed the point. If there aren't enough jobs POSSIBLE for everyone, that doesn't magically turn someone unemployed lazy. It means that society is changing, and they happened to be unlucky.
What's to stop someone from forcefully taking down an Amazon drone, then placing it into a Faraday cage while they disassemble it and get the free hardware?
You can't escape hardware based exploits/backdoors. There's a lot of silicon in these things to hide in.
I'm excited already. 2015 is the year of NRAM, OLED monitors, Linux desktops, and BTTF hoverboards.

Why am I not surprised that unhappy people do not make fun games?

Cloud storage is the fractional reserve bank of the internet.
He just wanted to be left alone, leave him alone.
Then someone should steal the idea and force them to lose their trademark.
You can make some interesting connections sharing a cigarette. That's about all.
I don't really see too much of a difference between new and old functionally. It's just looks more trendy.
You've obviously never written 1000 lines of code and had it just "work" the first time. That's a miracle.

The second you put your add on your website, we'll subtract it.
The gov't is probably doing him a favor by converting them.
It's not just wasting his money, he's putting extra strain on the shared power grid.
A wrecking ball.
Jokes aside, driving a luxury car doesn't make you an asshole. Driving a Prius does.

This is exactly why we should continue to support AOL. They would never pull something like this.
So you get Pandora in your car, but you open Pandora's box. What's more important?
