The leaders have a complete lack of understanding of the internet as anything more than an "it". the internet now has an entire sub culture based around it. If you try to force people to SOMEHOW be authenticated on the internet it will fail. NO ONE HAS FORCED ANY BUSINESS TO PERFORM MISSION CRITICAL TRANSACTIONS OVER THE INTERNET. If it is so important they would have point to point communcations setup over a private wire. but in reality there is always risk for our success and that is the fact that the internet provides FAR more in benefit than problems

the tax check you write (as so do i as a small business owner) is part of the social control mechanism that the politicians want you to believe pays for the government. There are many other methods of paying for "promote the general Welfare" and "common defence". I do not believe the burden of paying for our over bloated super liberal government programs is the responsibility of us. The government should RAISE ITS OWN MONEY... by TAXING IMPORTS and no longer devaluing our money and placing the burden on its citizens. instead our government wants to engage in NAFTA WTO and other free trade arrangements. the point i am trying to make is that there are many other ways of doing this
the US government does not need to collect taxes at all to support themselves. most of the governemt is paid for by selling TBILLS to the FED and then the fed goes ahead and issues the "money" the idea behind taxes in modern america is a social tool... the government does not need our money. in the past AMERICANS PAID NO TAX the money came from tarrifs on impots into our country (granted that was years ago) the bottom line is that the loosers are the coutries that are selling themselves out for the $$ (dollars not money but DOLLARS)

now i do not agree with the way the fed works it all.. (its way past fractional banking) but under this current monetary system we are the winners

first you must break asia into peices. the conditions in JAPAN are NOTHING like those of china. that is why japan is now in the same place as the US as it used to be that all cool gadgets were made in japan.. not anymore... most of there stuff is made in china or taiwan... secretly america has the edge because we have taken a country and given them "dollars" in exchange for ACTUAL MATERIAL GOODS. we are getting the better end of the stick. we have there stuff that they make for us CHEAP and in trade we get to give them our "money" and hence turning them further into an economic engine for america's growth... the real truth is... is that the trade deficit actually benifits america in the long run

I think that the WIPO is evil I do beleive in some level of IP protection but these international groups threaten the sovereignty of individual nations. I do not think cooperation between nations of this level is good for the world. nations must remain competitive with one an another

no matter what people should be required to make there physical marks on a ballot. i dont care if its a bubble scan type but they still need to TOUCH the ballot and leave there own marks. This is the most basic step in a democracy,. the removal of this requirement can only lead to falsified voting results. In my state they gave us the option "paper ballot or electronic one?" and you would be AMAZED at how many idiots voted on those touch screen machines.
