If the issue is Warden, the reason that it's hitting Linux users is that Warden is a Windows program and Linux WoW players are using the Windows version of WoW.
...and the fact that our ability to engage in large-scale shipping will be massively impaired if not eliminated isn't the sky falling? Hard Knock University is not an accredited school.
The only way that it can plateau is if the market is manipulated (like, say, by OPEC regulating output). In a world where supply and demand hold, there will be a peak.
And anyway, even if there is a plateau, it's just a peak that lasts a little while before collapsing.
HAHAHAHA, "hippy communes", wow, you are Libertarian. Or maybe you're just one of those Republicans who still can't get over the Vietnam War- you guys're pretty pathetic. But hey, let's not forget what happened when we deregulated the Energy industry- there's a good number of people who died thanks to Enron's manipulations.
They don't- you're really getting DSL from someone else with an Earthlink or AOL brand slapped on it, much like how the Dell 720 Photoprinter that came with my laptop is really a Lexmark with a Dell insignia.
The answer is quite simple: most ISPs are not competing with other ISPs, and those that are are almost never in anything more competitive than a duopoly. Since their motivation is to make money, not to provide superior service, they'll only provide superior service when they think it'll help them make money. In foreign countries which value internet access greater, the government creates the necessary incentives, since the market cannot.
Speak for yourself, Libertarian. You folk make up a tiny fraction of the US population, with an absurdly high influence on political thought, and every single time we try something you propose it fails.
Einstein had a word for trying the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results.
And thank the gods for that- the last thing the world needs is more Robert Jordans.

Congratulations, you never actually read Hunter: the Reckoning!
Relying on idiot Vampire fanboys for your info about Hunter was dumb in 2000 and it's dumb now.
In the gaming industry, the platform that hosts World of Warcraft and its seven million subscribers is a niche market?
That would be the Mao that seized power in a violent revolution, right?
Statistics say you'll flip on the light to discover that you've just murdered one of your children.
Have a nice life (sentence)!
I was all set to pwn the lamer, and you totally beat me to it, and beautifully, besides. Bravo, sir!
Bah, I meant Dungeon Keeper, sorry. My mistake.
Diablo isn't like Dungeon Seige, which is a Sim game. Diablo is Nethack with pretty graphics, done in realtime.
Has to be, in order to be ready for when we adopt Chinese business practices out of a need to do so in order to compete with them.

Also, please continue to rant. It's adorable.
One word for you: Energy deregulation.
The dead of California are on your hands.

20-30%? Hell, Mac's getting a ton of games lately, and they're nowhere even remotely near 20%.
Finally, the resolution of a cellphone VDU on a screen the size of a bedsheet! Amazing!
That speech brings to mind that Crichton is a third-rate author who has built a career on writing novels about how science is scary and will kill you.
Yeah, we wouldn't want to interfere in natural processes.
You know, like cancer, AIDS, measles, polio, and the like.
You need to stop watching television, as it has rotted your goddamn mind.
Even The Rock is better than Carlos Mencia.
If by small handful, you mean "several hundred thousand", then yeah, that's plausible.
Some people might want to beat up the elderly, but there's a reason the law doesn't support that plugin.
