Still it strikes me as odd that we all drive from the left seat in America and on the right side of the road. It would seem to increase the chances of the drivers being killed

While in a partial head-on accident (the most dangerous sort for a given speed) driver survivability is probably reduced by being on that side of the vehicle, the greater visibility afford to the driver by being nearer to the centre of the road greatly reduces the likelihood of an accident at all.

It nets out at fewer deaths per mile, even if individual outcomes per crash suffer slightly.

  2. A single function that is more than enough to keep the player further expenditure with a 0.01% ult-rare drop. It could be random_plus_function(), random()*random(), GetDropAfter99() or just the simple random(), but the basic is the same.

Except that frequently it isn't. It does take into account player interactions, it does take into account past success, it does take into account player expenditure.

You are proving the fundamental of random() and the underline math / statistics causing player interaction to be true even in those games.

No, I'm stating the opposite. It's often far from random. There may be random elements to it, but no matter how many times you roll a six sided die, you're never going to get the winning roll of 7. That's random and still very much controlled.

The only way to combat severely shrinking growth is to rapidly increase immigration to make up for low birth-rates

Well, tell the fucking government then, because the population is rising rapidly and it's entirely due to net migration and the extent births by immigrant women.

That's not making up for low birth-rates, that's filling the country up, stressing public services and congesting cities.

and continue to force the expansion of many aspects of the economy. By driving competition and severely restricting QOL for its citizens, birth-rates may increase and return to sustainable levels.

Wait? You think that to save the economy we must fuck over the existing population? I'd rather let the economy collapse, be equally badly off and at least still have the chance to visit the countryside.

    What other options are there?

Well, looks like everybody's going to have to work until they're senile even with all this immigration, so that's one option.
