    I don't get why you'd even try.

    Surely strip the firearm down to the essentials - barrel, chamber, pin, trigger mechanism and the magazine/reload bits. No, I can't remember the proper names, and no, I don't care.

    My point is that you don't need the sights, the grip, the safety catch.. the tripod mount, the carry handle, the sling hooks, the stock, the under barrel grenade launcher..

    Ok, I changed my mind. Ditch everything else, keep the grenade launcher.

    But cut the weight! It's not that hard to dismantle a firearm and keep it functional!

    Tricky. The banks didn't technical deceive anybody, they just relied on state bailouts to cover any potential losses.

    So no, probably not fraud. Fuck irresponsible though, and they should've been allowed to go bankrupt for their incompetence and inability to properly assess risk and protect their assets.

    Because a successful Euro would supplant the dollar as the primary world currency, with an associated loss of control, prestige and commercial benefits to the US.

    Except that as a British person, I'm kind of relaxed about the whole thing. British actors can do 'bad guy' very effectively, and the challenge for the US lead is usually trying to match the performance.

    Maybe it helps that the same British actors also play the 'good guy' in British films, and some US ones.

    I just like a lot of British actors. I like a lot of American ones too, and a couple of Australians. And a French one.

    A few years back someone successfully defending a child pornography related charge because malware on their PC created sufficient doubt regarding the provenance of the images.

    I think it is "beyond a reasonable doubt" that someone else may have full control over your computer.

    I don't think that's the case. However, forensic analysis of the computer and discovery of actual malware (rather than the strong likelihood of it) probably should suffice to create reasonable doubt.

    Of course, if the evidence is an email from you to the terrorist group, or a video of you raping the victim, or account details of multiple offshore accounts in your name, you're going to struggle to claim that the malware did it.

    Hmm. Off to write malware that opens offshore bank accounts..

    So I could invest a fuck of a lot of money into staff that know how to use MySQL, and writing the software to use it.

    Or I could invest a fuckload less money into an Oracle database, buy the fucking application that already connects to it, and draw on a wide range of cheap competent capable DBAs and developers across the planet.

    You appear to have no concept of business. It's all politics and people, technology is the easy bit..

    I did business with Sun. Oh.
    I did business with Eloqua, BigMachines, GoldenGate, Hyperion, PeopleSoft and Siebel.

    I might be able to replace WLS and the Sparc hardware but switching out a CRM, a HR system, a Finance system, a Marketing system.. that costs a fuck of a lot of money.

    I have many issues with Oracle but I seem to be doing business with them nonetheless.
