Oh God Yes! We have all seen it coming for months, and it's finally here! The PS3?? No, the end of the terrible medusa that is the videogame branch of Sony!!!
Sony videogame products that suck, and have made me boycott sony in general:
1. PS2 - a $300 console that will run well for 6 months, if you're lucky. to keep one working long term would cost more than the purchase price.
2. SWG - I can barely bring myself to talk about this debacle.
3. PSP - The original gameboy has better games. forget the BS that was UMD.
I want to tack on a number 4 to Sony in general:
4. Rootkitgate - asdgfkjhgasjgy2kyguear
Can you feel my frustration? As I have said in multiple posts, Sony is the only corporation that can actually make a person WANT TO USE MICROSOFT PRODUCTS!!
Anyway...
Sony Games will be crucified on a cross of Blu-Ray. Most people will either have a computer with an HD-DVD drive (Microsoft + Dell), or a 360 with an HD-DVD drive, which leaves no room for the vastly overprices Blu-Ray DVD systems! W00t!
Yes, Blu-Ray is a better format, but I'm willing to sacrifice it just to watch Sony Games DIE!!!!
You can't parallel park??!!1!! OMG~>!>! IT PROBABLY TAKES YOU LIKE 30 MINUTES TO SETUP AND CPNFIGURE AN APACHE WEB SERVER!?>!>! NUBCAKES!!!
Some people can't parallel park, get over it. I, for one, think this is a fantastic innovation. If they can make it affordable, then it will be in every car in 10 years!
Well, it's a start. I started hating Sony when the released the piece of garbage that 'was' SWG. They should have gotten rid of Koster, and all the other lead developers for SWG, before launch.
Now, if they get rid of some of the other mentally handicapped execs at Sony, I might stop boycotting their products.
For instance, they could get rid of whoever greenlighted that whole rootkit fiasco. I haven't heard of any firings related to that nightmare.
Leave it to Sony to start making me think Microsoft is an example of a 'good' corporation!
Bwahahaha! They expect this to 'compete' with Office without IE support?!?! Bwahahaha! At my office, and many offices that I know of, we aren't even allowed to download firefox, becuase our network security software relies on all the stupid hacks in IE!
How will 99% of the business market ever get to see this product without using Firefox? bwahaha.
I guess this was some sort of joke.
Maybe I will get to check it out at home, where I use Firefox, and am constantly using Ms-Office. Yup, in the Office, I play WoW, and at home, I use Ms-Office. It's not the other way around at all. bwahahaha!
Admittedly, GTA is not really an RPG, however, it still combines solid storytelling with interesting quests.
The thing that GTA does better than any other questing game is the intermingling of side-quests and story quests. You never find yourself in a situation where you are constantly doing pointless collection quests, and you never get too bogged down with story-heavy low-action quests. I give GTA a lot of credit for the depth of the gameplay, when it comes to questing.
I have to give BG2 a mention, of course. It was an awesome game, but I think GTA trumps it, when it comes to questing, because BG2 was soooooo story heavy. it was rather frustrating to have to figure out why Imoen is being so quiet when I'm in the middle of doing a quest.
