    That sentence is pretty clear. Not all BSD code can be relicensed.

    It appears that someone's submitted a patch to the LKML that wrongly strips the BSD atheros driver of its license - a clear violation of copyright.

    However, until it's in Linus's tree (or even the MM tree), the violation is not by "linux", but the contributor, Jiri Slaby.

    Anyway, thanks to the OpenBSD team for these great drivers. Thanks to the Linux team for including them (under the correct license).

    I'm not going to bother with a line by line rebuttal, I'll note on the compare Windows to Linux page (which actually is about Red Hat, not linux), the last paragraph reads:

    Open Standards != Open Source
    Open Source is a software development and distribution model, which does not equate to how easily the software interoperates with other software or how open or standardized the interfaces are.
    If you look in the corresponding MS section however, it doesn't touch on Open Standards (and MS's disregard for them) at all.

    Typical of the sickening dishonesty we get from this predatory company.

    Sure.

    You said: You can't use GPLv3'd software with DRM, with or without redistribution. That's restricting use.

    From the GPL V3 FAQ:

    Does GPLv3 prohibit DRM?

    It does not; you can use code released under GPLv3 to develop any kind of DRM technology you like. However, if you do this, section 3 says that the system will not count as an effective technological "protection" measure, which means that if someone breaks the DRM, he will be free to distribute his software too, unhindered by the DMCA and similar laws.

    As usual, the GNU GPL does not restrict what people do in software, it just stops them from restricting others.

    You also said:It also tries to stonewall the MS-Novell agreement. That's also restricting use.
