Why is getting to 70% "work" but getting from 70% to 90% not work? Are you saying it's OK to cheat to go from 70% to 90% but not to get to 70% in the first place? Why?
Except for the question mark at the end, right? Funny that the quote at the bottom of the page right now is He draweth out the thread of his verbosity finer than the staple of his argument. -- William Shakespeare, "Love's Labour's Lost"
"I can only assume your posting OUT OF Uranus since it's impossible to see phases on Jupiter and Mars from the Earth."
FTFY.
Actually you can see phases on Mars. Not like the moon, but you can see some. I just scanned through about a year and a half of Mars appearance from Earth using Stellarium and it went from full to about 3/4 full.
I drove up there once around my birthday (mid-September), but not all that fast - I drove an F-150 pickup. I enjoyed it immensely, especially the thick rime covering everything at the station at the top. Do they still claim the fastest recorded wind speed of 230-something mph?
In my experience (involving a son with congenital heart defects who required several surgeries and ultimately did not survive) parents have to be zealous advocates for their children when in a hospital.
It also means it is LESS radioactive - in terms of the rate of radioactive decay - that is WHY it stays radioactive longer. If you have X moles of nuclide A and it has a half-life of N years, then X moles of nuclide B with a half-life of 2N years will be half as radioactive, expressed as decays per unit of time. (That does not take into account the energies. A Co-60 beta has twice as much energy as a K-40 beta, for example. )
"I get their essays and I go 'You obviously don't know what a sentence fragment is. You think commas are sort of like parmesan cheese that you sprinkle on your words'," said Budra.
"I go"???
So, is he, like, teaching them Valley-speak to replace their IM-speak? I'm like, so sure!
Conjuction? It's getting hard to tell who's making errors intentionally for fun (or to deflect criticism), and who's falling prey to Muphry's Law, which I just learned of from this thread. BTW, I don't think that beginning a sentence with "and" is prohibited. Not something you want to do frequently, but not prohibited.
How about: Math Test 1. 1+1 = _____ 2. 2 * 8 = _____ [next page] 3. Do not write anything on this test [next page] 4. Forget what #3 said....what is the sum of the answers from #1 and #2? _____ [next page] 5. Don't listen to that guy...DO NOT write on this test!!! etc. etc.
The "that" is crucial. What is "that"? How many subscribers who don't call to complain about the coverage, signal strength in mW, # of city blocks w/ coverage? Also, Is it a linear axis or log, or some other scale? Does it start at zero at the bottom, or some other number?

No, I thought that immediately.

That's what was originally intended, but not what we've had for a long time. Idealists and purists don't ever get to run anything, you see.
I know you meant "from Uranus", but I was making a joke based on that, as in "out yer ass". HTH.
Hard day at work today?

Try Audacity, it's much better than that crappy knock-off, Audicity.

what about the people with free time who want $10,000?

I like that picture but I'd like it better if it included Earth's moon for comparison.

I liked that about MathCad back in the day. Did Maple buy Mathcad?

"Not ultra-stupid." Heh.
They should add that to the end of "News For Nerds. Stuff That Matters."
wait, so you have to be both insane AND under 16 to read Idle? Wow. Exclusive membership, that club.

+1 excellent car analogy.
Why did you say "as a phone"? If it were OLED, you couldn't use it outside as anything but a paperweight.
Whatever "that" is,....

It requires taking money away from citizens, in the form of taxes. If that isn't a "power", what is?
*Nobody* buys everything. (Almost) everybody buys *something*.
