Are you certain users did not give the app permission to use their twitter account? Nowhere in the article on the dictionary app does it claim they broke out of the sandbox and took control of people's twitter accounts.
You seem to have a tendency to use completely unrelated links to try and bolster a pretty weak position. Your l0pht link is equally puzzling.
Unfortunately there is no objective news today. Every network has an agenda. In all cases, the primary agenda is building and maintaining an audience. Unfortunately, there is not a large constituency of people interested in unbiased reporting.
Maybe you missed the memo. When it became impossible to prove a temperature increase, the story changed to climate change. Those of us old enough to remember the ice at consensus in the 70s are skeptical. We should be. I am a more active environmental advocate than 99% of the climate change nuts out there.
There are excellent reasons to reduce air pollution, waste, and water pollution without resorting to bullshit scare tactics. Climate changers are no more useful Han the clowns that scared us into the patriot act.
Are you sure? Why is the traffic being routed to Verizon? Because Verizon is the optimal path for that traffic. The bulk of that traffic is gong to Verizon's customers or the customer of Verizon's customers. No one is asking Verizon to do anything for free. There may be some case where Verizon has a shorter path to another provider than Cogent, but that will be a small fraction of the traffic.
Many of the countries you believe are better have state run networks with no competition. The best have state owned infrastructure where providers compete with equal access.
Google glass is not a product and probably never will be. Just because Apple does not have people running around with goofy prototypes stuck to their head does not mean they don't exist.
It is weird how you seem to be claiming you watched the keynote when your words clearly show you haven't. Do you struggle with the truth in your personal life too?
It was a silly statement. 80% of the people listening to music on their phones don't even use Android. In fact, I imagine iOS has 50% or more of mobile music listening.
Amazon Started selling their DRM free music within in a week or so of Apple. They both started with the EMI catalog. I imagine it was really the combined pressure of two of the largest music retailers pushing on one distributor.

I don't see them actually claim that anywhere and their paper is not out yet.
It's also a reminder that slashdot headlines have reached new levels of absurdity.
Just gonna lie in the headlines now? Come on...

Taking some humanity classes would have taught you how to interact with other people.

You think there are a lot of Americans struggling to get Cheerios?

Slashdot seems to be turning into a home for displace technophobes.
The bulb will last more than 15 years. Your arguments are ludicrous.

You may have noticed they did not make any announcements about iOS hardware today...

I chuckled at the combination of high end and iSCSI in the same sentence. ...
It's just you seeing what you want to see.
The specs are up on Apples site now. The 6 ports are on 3 separate TB controllers.
But not many do you mean only 10 or so today?
Since OSX and Linux already do this, maybe only Windows needed a driver.
If that is the case then a Mac would be able to use it as a fusion drive.
Quality? Have you ever used AirPrint?

The summary was a POS full of qualifiers and gave no idea what the story was actually about. Try harder.
