My iPad 2 is still in use now too. I bought it on release day and use it myself until the iPad Air 2 came out. I used my iPad 2 longer than I have used any laptop I have ever owned and it is still being used in my house. Apple kept good software support on the two and after 4 years the battery still lasts all day long. What more could you want.
Well google just made some cardboard that would fold up to resemble the diagram in this patent 6 years after Apple filed it.... So really it took Google 6 years to try and rip it off and they only used cardboard because they thought it was silly.
Why then does the OnePlus sell so few units by comparison? Apple's operating costs go to a lot of things people value but other manufacturers can't or won't deliver. After sales support is a big part of it.
You don't get out much then.. You could not walk into a Starbucks today and not see one. You could not board a flight in the US today and not see at least 40 of them.
Apple is just dying over there selling only 21.4 million iPads a quarter and having to settle for a measly 90-95% of the profits in the tablet market. I don't know why they don't just pull out of the market.
Everyone with any sense uses a phone for their boarding pass. It has nothing to do with Apple users showing off their fancy devices. I doubt the % of usage varies much between platforms. Unless you think checking in on the way to the airport and walking straight to security and then to the plane without stopping to waste paper is a bad idea...
Indeed. The projectile argument is about the most absurd. Most phones weigh less than the Skymall catalog. All phones would hurt less than a paperback book. All tablets would be worse projectiles than a hardcover book.
I have asked a lot of American Airlines flight attendants about this and none of them said they supported the ban and they were happy to not have to deal with it.
Plane crashes, I will know. What about people that fall asleep? Are reading a book? Have ear plugs in? When I couldn't use my headphones I had earplugs in and read a book. I was much less aware than I am listening to music and looking at my phones.
These arguments are all absurd. There are only two groups of people that want the ban: people who rarely or never fly and fly attendants. Flight attendants just don't like the fact that it is much more obvious they are being ignored. It is a bit confusing though. I talk to flight attentands a couple of times a week and nearly all of them think the ban was stupid and lifting it was a good thing. So really this is about some curmudgeonly Luddite running the union.
All MoCA speeds are theoretical and based on ridiculous conditions never found in the field. MoCA sucks. The best use for coax is pulling cat6 or cat 5e cable.
That's silly. Sure the #1 player is in their 20's. What on earth does that have to do with learning new things? The younger trend for ranked chess players likely has a lot more to do with the fact that there is almost no money it .
Since there are players that were world chess champions for spans of 20 years or longer, your logic makes sense. Since we are the same age, I don't believe your failing logic is a product of your aging mind.
Are you like the same person posting on 5 different accounts? There can't possibly be more than one person in the world that struggles to figure out what case the ios keyboard is in.

Seriously. Your complaining that stopped providing updates for devices more than 4 years old. Interesting position in a world where you can go out and buy a brand new Android device today and have a 50% chance of ending up with something that will never support the current version of Android. Forget about any of them ever supporting a future version.
They are not real people at all. They can't control their phone. If you don't have an international data plan and you have data roaming on (off by default, just like automatic downloads), you will be paying a lot of money. Period.
Didn't happen. If it did happen , it was a darwin moment. Even following the directoions in the text message the carrier sends whenever you land in a foreign country would have prevented it. By the way, even at AT&Ts 19.95 a meg it would not have been 1000s of dollars.

Too bad they completely open-sourced research kit already.
According to Doctors, every symptom may indicate cancer.
You think you should be able to discriminate against people because of their race? Maybe you want to be able to keep the disabled away?

What spec is better?

Terrible summary, kind of interesting article.

I wear ear plugs on every flight I can't wear headphones on. I hear more listening to music then I do when I am not listening to music...
In fact nearly all international flights include earplugs in their first/business class kits and some even include them in coach.
Did any of those happen during the nearly 30 year ban on the use of electronic devices during take off and landing?

How do people come up with this ridiculous stuff.

Depends...Music doesn't download from Apple automatically unless you tell it to.

Go back to your Katy Perry and Justin Beiber then.
