When a team fails a project, it is almost always because of the team's approach&organisation. What you are trying to say that your agile team being so flexible were still not able to overcome difficulties the real world presented to you. Is this a problem of the world or yours?
Indeed - I am still keeping mails from a team I left 3ya. The automated information about their sprints and stories land in a separate trash folder out of respect for the answer I got when I tried to get removed: "it is impossible".
Admittedly before they had been attacked, Jewish organisations having support from big parts of Jewish communities all over the world did not try to slaughter everybody thinking differently including fellow Jews. First thing Muslims should do to change the perception we the rest of the world have about them, is to stand up to their butchers and their oppression of women and males that shave beards or put their penises (OMG) in a wrong hole.
If no package is offered this is a possible strategy. I do not think this actually matters. The powers that be in the company made a decision. for this company it may have good or bad consequences but unless company collapses there will be no consequences for the decision maker. Thus your own strategy should be based on exact package conditions. You can boycott some of the activities of course. If you are smart in this, it can cost the company millions and provide you with some satisfaction. But the suckers that made decisions are not affected by this anyway so that is about all you are going to achieve.
Come to think of it artificial CEOs is not such a bad idea. OC they must have at least the level of sophistication of an ant colony or else the company will fail before all too many quarterly reports.
In corporation that pays for my bread and butter there is a propaganda dep which sends regularly mails about glorious attempts at different well meant policies. Recently I (and the whole company) got a mail in which this department of truth stated that in order to avoid discrimination of the young a policy of decreasing the average age of employees were to be executed. This was supposed to help company to be more innovative etc. It apparently did not occur to the author that this mail is announces an open discrimination of the old farts (like me). I was just about to inquire this in 'answer all' post when a friend of mine soberly pointed out that my package can be in danger if I did. I still wonder about legality of this mail. It is firmly on local disc and in a backup just in case the said package is not satisfactory.
He did not read it so he could not miss it. Still satire or not the film is just an interpretation of the book and is thus different. I know people that went for the film for explosions and guns etc and considered this a silly flick that you can forget minute you left the cinema. There are people that interpreted fascism into the film. There are others that have seen strong anti-fascism in it. I think the movie was great because it offered all these different way to see it. For most of the movies that is difficult. I am not sure V. actually wanted to make it this way. He still did.
Whether anybody can call themselves anti-fascists (and do not succumb to be an complete ass terrorizing everybody to the extend to justify being call a faxcist themselves) is one thing. I do not know much about V. but he did not read the book. If so he could not really make any inversion of it either.
Armored suites not being anything to be used? Well have you ever looked at your SWAT teams or even normal police officers? They look like robots already. I tend to think that when we reach the point to have drones and microrobots doing all the policing then our race will be cleansed - not because of evil AI but because it will become easy for a psychopath to give an order.
Indeed it is advisory. Now when we clarified this explain please how are you going to deal with the opinion of significant majority of the country?
I can imagine the PMs voting to stay and forget but will this go smooth you think? I personally think the PMs have quite a say in what is going to happen and what mandate UK gov is going to get - this should be a good thing. Government that does not have to care about anything because it believes it has a wildcard mandate from the people (or it can twist it this way anytime it wants) is a massive risk for any society. Look at Germany for example. If Brexit has to happen than parliament should decide how it should go and what are priorities. OTOH if parliament decides to disregard the result of people's opinion it will not make UK society any better. The big issues that caused people to say NO to anything the elites did must be addressed or next time there will be no referendum - instead heads will roll.
But they do. This is true now and was true before. State supports development of some silly thing like pyramids or suez canal, investors pile up the finances in hope of profit all gain. The same happened with pyramids and the same happened with railways (with exception of Brits who developed rail but have no rail service to speak of and benefit from). Any big industrial development has been based on state induced investment that usually failed and became a fertile ground for others. The only problem with that is when the state gives the inventions for free without conditions attached - see all the medical research done for government money and sold for lots of green stuff by private companies.
How is this off topic - it is very much on topic. The opinion presented in parent's post may be not something you would like to see or not something you share but it is not off topic. This is clear case of censorship by mods. Not good.
If this is a subsidiary of t-mobile in Germany then no,they cannot or rather they can but then they would be violating the law and possibly get punished by German authorities. Siemens had that problem already. Not all industries are so loved by German government as the banks and car makers.
Does a really unlimited service actually exist? In US market? A side question - do US authorities punish anybody else these days than companies coming from German speaking countries?
Who might have thought. For generations authoritarians were using brute violence to ensure that the citizens do not stand a chance to say NO and if they try that they will be punished. Now people using their gadgets and services provide the means of control without even thinking about that. Chances are that the powers that be can use coercion but they do not have to and still get their objectives. The flickering of violence at the edges of society can be easily pacified. As with infectious disease prevention is a key.
I always had problems with people that tried to help me especially if this meant me paying anything to them and the respective fees being made mandatory by industry or even state. In other words - if you want to help me ask first if I need help.
I think hope for silver app fixing it all for you is slightly exaggerated. Sure we will have relatively safe assisted driving sooner or later. Whether this will make driving cheaper is as good a question as the one about fatalities. I am not even arguing for human drivers being better. What I have problems with is the idiocy of 'new technology fixing it all and once for all and being available tomorrow. I also have serious problems with motivation for doing these silver apps in case of number of serious players in this field.
Otherwise you can also save some lives by forcing people to actually walk at least short distances - this of course will cause a short spike of heart failure related deaths for real fat blobs the rest will survive and be healthier. Maybe even start realizing that human race is not a race after all.
You expect too much from people. In current climate in Germany you would have been called right wing radical for having a view that can be seen in opposition to the only allowed truth.

That may be correct. The problem is widespread.

you seem to be knowledgeable can you please help me remove my address from this list, it is getting really annoying.

The world will end too.
Fortunately not tomorrow.

No suites - this will be a nice pr0n movie!!!
Cannot wait to see it!

I think you can get that. Looking how hostile political debates have become in the West I think a war is inevitable.

You mean audiences in US of A do not like explosions?

This is an industry standard definition.
It's a lie.
All industry members telling it should be fined, hard, until they stop.
They maybe should but they will not. What does that tell you?

Well in Roman Empire they taxed urine - I am sure there will be something they can tax more to cover for the losses.
