Real live cattle ranches aren't all that helpful for this kind of operation, though. What you need is a feedlot, preferably a really nasty and high-population one.
That's a good point. From what I can tell, the cattle ranches here in California are more like spas for livestock. However, the beef here is really good and surprisingly cheap. I couldn't believe that the same cut of beef is less expensive in Central California than it is in Houston, Texas, but it's true.
If that's your goal, then you're about 10 to 15 years too late.
The modern Internet is an abomination compared to what it once was like, when things were far more decentralized and much less corporate-controlled than they are today.
Net Neutrality is an effort to bend the curve back. It's better than just ceding the remaining control of the internet to Comcast.
Look at web sites like Reddit, Stack Overflow, Hacker News and even Slashdot. These discussion sites are rife with things like "voting", "moderation" and/or "banning users", which normal people consider to be acts of censorship.
Oh, you're one of those jackoffs. No, "normal people" do not consider moderation and voting to be acts of censorship.
You should really learn the difference between the content on the internet and the delivery of bandwidth. You're very confused as to what Net Neutrality means.
While I want an Internet where all packets are treated equally, regardless of their content or source/destination, I find it disconcerting to see how the EFF, Reddit, and others are responding.
Uh-oh. Concern troll time.
It's clearly not about trying to give us an impartial understanding of all sides of this issue. It's clearly pushing an agenda.
Yes, it's pushing an agenda. The agenda is to not turn control of the internet over to the corporations most likely to fuck it up.
Basically, what we have here is the "I don't like their tone" argument, which is used to undermine an effort. And the same people love Trump, not for what he is doing, but because of his tone, which is purely visceral, unruly and unhinged.
There are about a zillion cattle ranches within 200 miles of Long Beach. Until I moved out here to the Central Coast, I had no idea just how big ranching is here.
If you drive Hwy 101 or Hwy 5 from San Luis Obispo (where I live) to Long Beach, you will see tons of cattle and horses. Don't do the drive today, though, because fires have closed down 101 through Ventura and Hwy 5 through Castalc Junction. I know these things because I'm supposed to catch a plane at LAX tomorrow and ain't nothing moving through there. Not even Amtrak, because the smoke from the fire is so hazardous. I may have to take the Surfliner up to SFO to fly out.
I know you're in Pensacola, Florida tonight, Mr President, but you really can't use that in your speech again. I mean, our supporters hate the shvoogies, but that's just not acceptable.
Please provide a source where anyone at the FCC said that anti-NN consumer comments in any form (much less ones from bots) drove their decision to any degree. Thanks.
There's no indication that the FCC cared in any way about comments from the public.
But someone sure went to a lot of effort to post over a million anti-Net Neutrality comments to the FCC using stolen identities a bot network.
News flash: nobody's going to Mars. These two are measuring dicks while the world burns and 95% get left behind. Maybe do something good for the people of Earth instead of worrying about building the first Trump Golf Course on Mars.
The CEO of Boeing and Elon Musk should be first against the wall. Or if not first, then in the first group.
Sadly if you were an American guy you might be able to spell Cleenex or Brawny or Walmart but maybe this is a parody. In any case I'm a U.S. Citizen and sadly a taxpayer struggling with the burdens of Obamacare which has doubled my healthcare expenditures. You? Volley to your side how do you respond? * fall on your ass and make a Jon McEnroe quote? * struggle to wheeze your way back to baseline and whiff? * stand on your rock of I don't give 2shits for anybody that isn't a democrat.. and decree to world+dog that your opinion is more valuable than anyone that opposes you * you take a sabbatical.. do some real soul searching and research the entire spectrum of politics and realize there are more options and opinions than you and the rest of your androgyny and must spend a lot of time to realize that the world doesn't revolve around their singular chorus line.
There is evidence that Apple is hogging the world's supply of overpriced bullshit.
Seriously, when Apple ties up these exclusive contracts for its 4k displays, it's considered great business. If Elon is really hogging the world's supply of batteries, then one would expect to see the price of batteries to go up instead of down.
Trump looking at the eclipse with no protection on his eyes.
The one that really gave me a laugh was the one where he's looking at the eclipse and pointing to it, in case any of the White House staff forgot that the sun is in the sky and doesn't shine out of his ass.
I would think that the Twilight Zone would entirely relevant for those of us who feel that Black Mirror is terrible.
Yeah, I was pretty shocked to find out just how bad Black Mirror really is, after all the hype. They take on the most obvious plot tropes and beat them into the ground. I tried to like it, but could not hack just how hack each episode was. I gave it a season and a half and kept thinking, "Maybe I was just in a bad mood and I'll try one more episode" and it always disappointed.
I didn't hear you complaining last night.

This explains why men in tech have such problems with sexual harassment.

California is the fourth largest cattle-producing state.
Also, there aren't any uranium mines in Long Beach, but I bet you wouldn't have the same objection to a nuclear power plant here.

Yeah, it is.
I hope you realize you will be one of the ones left behind.

These are the good old days.
You have an overly rosy view of 2005. Time makes the smell of garbage fade.
