    When the Republicans took over Congress, you knew they'd tackle the really important issues. I guess naming the national mammal is at least a step up from the 60 (yes, that's a six and a zero) symbolic votes to repeal Obamacare or another 72 weeks of investigations into "what really happened in Benghazi".

    This is why they're too busy to even have hearings regarding trivial items like filling a vacancy on the Supreme Court.

    You will notice that among blacks, Donald Trump's support is shown in this Fox News Poll as being 10%, with a margin of error of 9 points, plus or minus. And that's the HIGHEST he's ever done in such a poll, by about a factor of three.

    Do you give your work/time away for free?

    The person who did the work/put in the time isn't going to see anything from the money that goes to a scientific journal or textbook publisher. As someone who's written a textbook, I can tell you that very few authors are paid based upon the sales of that textbook.

    And scientific journals? The authors/researchers were paid before the paper was even submitted to the journal.

    Not only can I get radio on my Zune, but I get HD digital radio. So, here in my town, I can get two or three different stations on one frequency. I can hear Yankees games AND Red Sox games even though I don't live in New York or Boston. The radio on the Zune is one of it's nicest features.

    Play games? Edit text files?

    It's a media player. Why would I play games or edit text files on it? But yeah, there's a chess game and a few others on mine. I can also sync with my computer via Wi-Fi.

    That's really funny. Here's an excerpt from that article:

    “I make the point that they are demonstrating something they had no knowledge about,” she said. “If you want to do it right, you do it right. You don’t know what you are doing.”

    Peterson claims to have saluted in counterprotest.

    “Absolutely I’m not a Nazi, no,” she told The New York Times. “I’m not one of those.”

    She threw up a Nazi salute "in counterprotest". Uh-huh. That's an interesting way to "counterprotest".

    You start looking at a universal basic income.
    If their are not enough jobs, you need to ensure that everyone can afford food, housing and health care even if they don't have a job.

    If you don't want to live in the equivalent of a third world country, where most people are dirt poor and living on the street and a very few are fabulously wealthy, you better start learning to live with a vastly expanded welfare state.
