    Totally agree! The next thing you know, people will be upset that walking into a Safeway store, you'll see prices and boxes of dozens of different cereals when all I really wanted was Raisin Bran! How dare a store advertise and push other products to consumers!

    Thankfully you can buy replacement fobs from someone else than the dealer. Like you can with pretty much all parts for all non-Tesla vehicles.

    TFS mentions "fob" and "key" four times each, and has zero mentions about a phone. If it's about a phone-based system, then it's incredibly poorly written (even for BeauHD). Or it's about the actual fob - not what you surmise, the phone.

    Flux - in an electrical world, that usually refers to magnetic flux, measured in Webers or Henries, and a capacitor is measured in Farads. So having a Flux Capacitor (an inductive capacitor) measured in Ohms (resistance) is really the ultimate Geek Component.

    State law does not supersede Federal law. The Federal Government still considers cannabis use illegal. From your own link the 4th paragraph in its entirety is:

    There’s also the complication that marijuana remains illegal federally.

    Actually, smoking weed in California is not legal; the State has an official policy of not enforcing Federal pot laws, so you won't get the local or State police to stop you, but it is still a Federally banned act and thus still illegal.

    The report goes on to say that "Blockchains do not provide the anonymity often ascribed to them." It continues: "In the particular context of elections, voters need to be authorized as eligible to vote and as not having cast more than one ballot in the particular election.

    It's who casts the vote. Before we even worry about Blockchain, we need to ensure people casting the ballots are legally eligible to vote. Guaranteeing a vote was cast is no more important than guaranteeing who cast the vote was eligible to actually cast that vote.

    Provided you have enough parking spots at each of those locations - which is not always the case. I am in San Diego right now for CEDIA and the apartment I'm renting has 0.8 parking spots per unit - and some units have two occupants each with their own car, and they are parking on the street, rushing to leave by 8 AM so they don't have to feed the meter. So we can build out a massive number of new chargers everywhere, or convert a massive infrastructure that already has power and space to provide those quick 15-20 minute charges to get you around if needed.

    How many supercharger stations are there? And how many cars does each service? There are around 168,000 gas stations in the US, and they can handle at least 4 vehicles (many can handle 12 or 16 at a time).

    Many (if not most) of which don't have parking lots or the ability to service cars. Never seen a gas station where you could not drive and park cars at it, though...
