    The bloat just seems to drive costs up and eats up time.

    maybe 10-20 years ago there was good need for that bloat but not to day when you have to many people in college.

    So they want people who are in 600+ person classes vs community college and tech schools that have much small classes.

    200 Students doing real cheating seems unlikely and makes it seem like they just studied the sample test.

    This is what you get when people are pushed to be in college when they are not cut out for it.

    Also by making them get B.S, M.S and PHD just to get jobs does not help. In some jobs you don't need to write long papers and or it's not your job to do that much writing on the job.

    I don't think lot's of people are using stuff like this to cheat (as in to pass without knowing anything about the class they are in) no they just are not good at witting long papers. They can do the short lab and or homework papers but not the big papers with not having to use people who are good at essays but don’t know that much about the topic.

    Not only that when you have filler courses like art history (A professor had this story) that in the class the student would turn in short papers saying art is great but for the final they turned in copied from on line a long paper about art theft and how it affected art prices in the year X.

    Yes the dorm internet is a like a ISP and it's not free the cost is build into a tech fee and or room and board costs.

    how about dropping filler classes like art history and other off your major stuff just to fill a needed # of college courses. Some colleges have up to 1 year of filler that can be cut to save costs and let you take less time and or more class on your major.

    also light peak only works with intel video and if you want to use your usb keyboard or mouse $30 cable or hub that needs a wall wart as light peak may not pass power.

    want Ethernet $30 cable

    want to use a ati or nvidia video chip you may need a piggy back cable to make it tie into the light peak network.

    We need tech juries or at least a 3rd party tech guy to help the jury out look at terry childs there was only like 1 IT guy on the jury we need more then 1 and we need people who have worked under conditions that range from by to book to do what is needed to be done to get the job done even when it means by passing clueless upper management to get it done.

    The terry child case is just 1 of many cases where most of the jury has no idea about tech cases.

    even hitting a road worker in a work zone is a MAX fine of like $10,000 so how can file sharing HAVE A FINE THIS HIGH?

    Hell you can shop lift cd's and pay like a max fine of $500

    But the tech / Vocational Schools are more to topic for the real world with less filler and more upto date courses but employers don't like then why?.
