Sure recall the laptop batteries, but they do nothing for GX270 & 280 owners that have machines stuffed with a failing batch of Nichicon capacitors produced in 2003... The Nichicons produced before and after that batch are perfectly fine, just that one batch from is bad.

Micron "complied" i.e. rat'd everyone out, now they have "immunity"...

DRAM prices are cheap, this will only inflate prices. The computer makers skimp on the memory to keep their share holders happy, what would you expect when you can get a computer for ~ $300... Apple will void your warranty if you add memory, the other OEM's charge outrageous prices for memory upgrades, from what I've seen of DELL's memory upgrades, they appear to be overpriced units made by MICRON...

    Very true.

This happened to a neighbor's son. Turns out his cousin got a hold of a credit card application and went nuts with the card, the card that the credit company was ignorant enough to issue. A collection agency came after our neighbor's son so he got a lawyer. The collection agency could not produce one piece of documentation or a receipt that our neighbor's son had signed. The Police are now perusing the matter with the cousin.

    No you don't.

To claim your children and spouse when they do not have a SSN on your taxes, you contact the IRS and get an ITIN.

I claimed my wife for years with a ITIN until she was issued a green card and a then a SSN...

    http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=96287 ,00.html

"IRS issues ITINs to individuals who are required to have a U.S. taxpayer identification number but who do not have, and are not eligible to obtain a Social Security Number (SSN) from the Social Security Administration (SSA).
ITINs are issued regardless of immigration status because both resident and nonresident aliens may have U.S. tax return and payment responsibilities under the Internal Revenue Code."

Tested already in late February... "A few weeks back, Trophy, an Israeli active protection set-up, went through its first tests on an American Stryker vehicle. It's already being used to protect Israeli tanks against rocket-propelled grenades. [In a] Feb. 28 test... two inert RPGs were fired simultaneously; one would hit the Stryker while the other was intentionally aimed for a near miss... Trophy was able to track the trajectory, discriminate among the two parallel targets, and determine which one would actually hit the Stryker before selectively unleashing its lethal countermeasures. The actual method used to destroy the targets is classified." http://www.defensetech.org/archives/002230.html
