Have you ever looked at a graph of spending on the drug war vs addiction rates? One of them is a horizontal line, and it isn't spending. I see no evidence that maintaining a black market so you can feel good about doing nothing is a good thing.

Turns out that is because of impurities in home manufacture. The actual drug is much much safer than many other opioids , and making it available in a grade fit for human consumption would actually save lives.

My only disagreement is I would reverse chemistry and math. I am comfortable enough with programing languages that I have little trouble typing mathematical expressions. At worst, you use notions like abs() and limit() etc. I know what it means, and thats all I need for notes.
The last real academic class I took was chem, and I don't know how I would take those notes without some specialized software and/or a new language to express it in. It would be much faster for me to draw a lewis structure than to type one up, for example.
I mean, maybe there are some Latex gods out there who can take such notes faster than they can draw them, but I imagine this is exceedingly rare, and they likely understand the subject better than they would need to take notes for.

If they had planted some drugs in her locker and claimed the whole thing was her fault because she was high; I guarantee you there would be men on their way to put footprints on mars right now.
That is the whole problem with NASA, they don't kill anyone. If they at least blew up some brown children now and again this would have gotten so much funding it would have been operational already.
