You could software RAID them, but you'll have 16MB "disks" since you have to go with the smallest size. You could break convention and split up the 1GB drive into 16MB partitions for the software RAID, but you'd be better off with JBOD with all those differently sized drives.
I'm guessing you've never seen people put USB into RJ-45 ports (I've even done it on a computer where I couldn't see the back and the NIC port was right next to the USB). It fits perfectly on a lot of systems.
It's difficult (at best) to compare apples-to-apples
Sometimes it's difficult to compare Apples to Apples.
"I'd like to Max out my RAM. I have an iMac"
"Sure, but what version? That makes all the difference for what RAM it can use"
"Um, it's got a black back and I bought it in 2011 from a friend who upgraded to a newer Mac. I don't see a version number."
"Call your friend and find out when it was purchased from Apple"
Only because every boy carried a knife, and owned a.22, and every girl had six brothers and twenty male cousins (one of which might have been her intended).
I would really like to see a SATA IV spec that is a little faster but includes power on the connector. It makes little sense to me to have separate connectors for power and data on SATA since you can not have an unpowered SATA device.
I would rather not have power for 5 or more SATA drives running through my motherboard just to make a unified connector the standard. Same goes for RAID cards (especially the 8+ port ones).
I'm going to guess you're trolling or being funny, but in case you aren't: forge-welding is welding using a forge, not welding a forge. Although... most forges do have critical parts made out of steel. The only place where steel gets hot enough to become plastic (or burn) is in the center of the coal. The edges are cool enough that things like the basin and vent don't get anywhere near melting. I've seen people make a forge out of a kitchen sink, some kiln cement, and a shop vac. The sink never melts, despite the cement not being too thick.
I've heard old ammo cases make excellent oil quench tanks since they're designed to be watertight, and if the oil reaches catching temperature, you can just douse it by closing the lid.
The difficulty in obtaining an operating license for a cargo ship, train, or weasel-powered hauling device is irrelevant to whether transporting a car implies operating a car (or is equivalent). Pedantry thankfully requires no such license yet.
Maybe they were talking about ex-Mormons, like if you leave the faith but stay in the community, like an Amish person wearing jeans and a t shirt. Shunning might be the result whether instiutionalized or not.
And there is 100% truth to my statement is my experience. Maybe the latest Mac airs are nicer than the first gen ones, but the stupid USB sticks that come with them are not interchangeable, and USB DVD drives won't install from standard OSX installation media. It's original stick or nothing.
One of the worst things I hate about the new Mac Air laptops is that they will only boot an OSX install instance from the USB key that came with the laptop. And I mean the Exact key. Another key from the same shipment of laptops isn't good enough. So all the keys need to be kept from the users, labeled, and stored somewhere. And hope they don't go bad, or another OS is your only option (you might be able to dd an image in target mode, but that's just a guess).

It's not my fault!
Yep, that's why I do a four-way wiggle whenever I blind-insert these days.
I can't wait for someone to take this post out of context.

Roadhouse.
Alliteration.
Children were just as safe before smart phones...

Pizza restaurants decline to deliver to certain apartment complexes all the time (usually where their delivery men keep getting mugged).
Tectonic plates don't really exist. It's just the crust expanding from matter being created as a result of energy attracted to the planet's core.
So you're saying this is a global warming issue?

No daylight savings in Iraq? Hmm. Nah, still not worth moving.
Let him have his monolithic lasagna code.

I was being pedantic about the equals sign between transporting and operating.

And this is /., so in theory, these are smart people.
operating a car -> transporting a car
FTFY
transporting a car -/-> operating a car, unless cargo ships are cars.
Yeah, they waited for the Belgians to waffle.

Do you make your linquini traditional or GPL v3 style?
So you're not a true believer?
The editors fell down on the job
If only there was someone who could stifle descent for them.
