How many Neons does Dodge sell?
How many Vipers does Dodge sell?
Now tell me... just because Dodge sells many, many more Neons, does that mean it is better?
Or how about McDonalds hamburgers vs. fillet mingon? Another clear case where the inferior product sells better.
IE dominates the browser market because it is free in one way that Mozilla isn't... It's hassle free. It comes delivered on your Windows desktop when you buy a computer. Most people never even imagine that there could be something better, or that it's free to use. Most people just don't care. But do not mistake "market dominance" with "good product".
In case you were too busy thinking about Mozilla 2.0 to notice... there will not be a Mozilla 2.0
We're getting Firebird and Thunderbird in its place. The current version of Moz is the last version of Moz.
It seems to me that the solution is to have a variable RTO... Kinda like when LaForge had to continually modulate the shield frquency to keep the borg from adapting.:-)
Install all the WMs that come with a distro, and try 'em all out! Then the user can make an informed decision as to what he likes best. That's what this former Windows user did.
But I think all my suggestions were already posted:
1: Find your local LUG
2: I don't care if it's tedious, RTF Man pages!
3: Google.
4: Forums like JustLinux (formerly LinuxNewbie)
5: IRC isn't all that bad. Change servers and find a decent channel filled with helpful people.
Nice.
I don't see why anybody feels the need for a new title. In fact, I think we should revert to "SysOp". That's what they were called when I was younger...
This is the best you'll find if what you're looking for is news with a heavy anti-administration and anti-war slant. But I think the person asking wanted something unbiased... (which does not exist, sadly enough)
Of course, I could learn to format my posts better, too:-)

"The special edition DVD will include all of the features from the original DVD release, The Matrix Revisited, and new features as well."
There is a full list of features there.
Depending on what you're looking for, I would be happy to part with my back issues that are collecting dust, and my wife would be very happy to be rid of the lot of them.
As for where I buy them, I currently am subscribed. I don't buy back issues at all, ever. (well, okay, I shelled out for Wolverine #1 way-back-when since my subscription started on issue #2)
Is a tool to let us burn an audio CD from ogg files. I haven't seen that anywhere yet.
Actually, I'd prefer a hardware solution; a CD player that will play an ogg-format music disc.
"But then I realized something - this tax would make those who are most interested in space the primary source of space development funding."
Sounds logical. By that theory, I should never be taxed to pay for my local schools, either, since I have no children. Tax revenue from the sale of guns and ammunition should support our military. Revenue from state-run lottery will fund "gamblers anonymous" programs....
Do you see how impractical things get when you run a country this way?
" Motor oil is a perfect example of why pay-for-disposal doesn't work. If you have to pay to throw away the oil properly, people will just dunmp it in the sewer and let it get into everyone's ground water. I'd prefer a system where you pay a deposit when you buy the oil, then get it back when you dispose of it properly."
Dispose of motor oil??? I just keep adding more to my car once every couple weeks... No disposal required.
"Then their goal of cutting down on garbage sprawal is succeeding. Fast food usually comes with an awful lot of stuff to throw away."
Here's a nifty idea... quit wrapping the fast food up! I mean, yeah it needs to be wrapped if you're getting it to-go, but if you're eating there at the "restaurant", there's abslutely no reason for them to wrap your food up. No wrappers, very little trash.
" I know gasohol turned everyone off of it, but alcohol is the best fuel to use.
Just don't run out of gas between 2AM and 8AM. Or before Noon on Sunday (or Sunday at all in some states).
Seriously, though, alcohol is a lousy source of fuel compared to fuel cells. Highly flammable (well, okay, so is hydrogen:). Produces pollution (fuel cells only produce water as a byproduct). Still requires a noisy combustion engine. And it would drive the price of alcohol up, which is bad.
So let me get this straight. The Senator thinks that me installing a security camera inside my house should be illegal. This is a good thing? How? What about businesses? 7-11 may be publicly accessible, but it certainly is private property. I can just see the conversation now...
"Excuse me sir. I need your permission to videotape you." "No. Now give me all your money."
"As a former author of an open source project some of these projects should reamin dead."
Well, if they should, they probably will. Others, like icewm, will find new owners because their time has not yet come, and the users of the software desire to keep it alive. I think this site embodies the heart of the GPL... Software doesn't need to die just because the owner no longer has time/interest to invest in the project.

They have what they call the SunTouch ultra high-bright LCD panels (touch screens!)
This may be exactly what you need.

Factory workers are treated better than this...
The worst job I ever had gave at least 5 minutes leeway before you were considered late.

I'm tempted to go take a pack of razor blades and deposit it on a shelf in another department. Or in somebody else's cart when they aren't looking.
No, it's not "yours". Ideas are like secrets. The only way to keep them is to never tell another person. But then they're pretty worthless.
This sounds good to me! Can I help mark cameras? :-)

Why would anyone complain about bloat in Mozilla? If you don't want the bloat, then download Phoenix instead. (I did, and I'm incredibly happy)
