    of course we should judge anyone who says "God did it" as an answer, perhaps "judge" is the wrong word, ridicule might be better. If there is no answer yet, you can't just assign it to a being that has no probability of existing. Its just lazy at best.

    "enthusiast" vs "scientist with tons of data" - i know whose word i'd take.

    "A lot of what I read is very one-sided" - if it is produced by the real scientists then you can't argue with the data but if its Heartland Inst. derived data then your "Both sides of this argument cherry pick scientific data/evidence to support their opinion." comment is only relevant to the Heartland Inst.

    Sounds like you come from a faith-based environment and don't rely on data backed up by facts.

    Whilst there are industry backed opposition using groups like Heartland so disseminate FUD about the climate change (and science), its going to be a long hard battle because there are loads of people who believe without looking at proof. You can see the effects when deniers say "we didn't cause the global warming" instead realising we are guilty of accelerating it. Usual lack of comprehension due to either "head in sand" or listening to Republican politicians that have shown a complete lack of understanding of science due to their God grovelling
