And why would black people have a problem with the word niggardly? It's derived from the same place we get the word nigger.

Wrong. This is the problem. Just because words might sound similar, doesn't mean they come from the same place.

Nigger's earliest appearance in English was in the 16th century, coming from the Spanish word Negro as a pejorative for blacks.
Niggardly comes from Niggard, which first appears in the 14th century and is likely to come from a Swedish word, which just means "stingy".

I'm a Canadian who takes vacations to Mexico regularly. I don't stay in Tijuana the same way I wouldn't visit the ghettos of Detroit for shits and giggles. Every country has its bad spots; you're there on vacation, you go to the nice places. Do you judge America by how rough the roughest cities are?

And, btw, Canada is not a frozen wasteland, jackass. The temperature is quite mild from mid March to November, getting into the 100's in June/July/August. Every country has a winter season that's less desirable than a summer season; why judge? Don't go to the far north where it is frozen most of the year unless you like that sort of thing.

Maybe the reason you're so poorly received in other countries is because you're so pessimistic and just plain grumpy. I have a friend from Arizona, the most hated state worldwide, come visit. Nobody gave a shit where she was from because she's nice, polite, and (get this) respectful of other countries and cultures.

Yes, I do believe that your behavior is an indication that you will go to Hell.

If that's the case, then you're misguided, and have no faith in what Jesus taught (which, incidentally, means that you are the one that's going to hell).

Judge not, lest ye be judged. As long as a person asks Jesus for forgiveness for any sin, they are allowed into heaven. Indeed, it's a bit fuzzy whether they have to ask, or just accept Jesus' forgiveness, but regardless, no sin, no matter how severe (there is no severity in the eyes of the biblical god, all sin is equal, with the single exception of renouncing faith, because he's a narcissistic bastard) is an auto gateway to hell.

And, indeed, "I don't "support" it. I don't care" would lose you major points, since while judging is a sin, not trying to save souls through the methods taught by Jesus (love, compassion, tolerance) is ignoring one of the principle tenets of Christianity.

Damning other people by your own laziness or ignorance or apathy, I'd say, is a greater moral sin than homosexuality. They're not hurting you, but, according to your faith, you're damning them.

police services mostly devoted to drug enforcement and harassing the population about petty things

Possession of small (personal, a few grams or so) amounts of marijuana isn't criminal here. If you're driving your car and the cops stop you, they just take it away; the penalty for having it is less than having open liquor in the car.

fire departments mostly serve insurance companies

This one I just don't get. It doesn't matter if you have insurance or not, the fire department will still try to save your house when it catches fire. They don't discriminate.

curb-side trash removal only begrudgingly provided, with new restrictions constantly added

Actually, garbage collection has been improving. In my city, for example, the province improved recycling pickup a few years back so that it didn't have to be sorted (which greatly increased the number of recycling boxes I see at the curb), and they're taking pickup efficiency and environmental concern seriously

    labor regulation supports busting unions

Not sure what you mean on this one.

environmental regulation a bureaucracy that will issue a waiver to destroy any feature of the environment you please

Funny when you consider that Canada was the first nation in the world to take action against BPA. Canada has historically been shown to be among the leaders in environmental concerns.

judicial services a pretense to cover widespread injustice.

And yet, according to studies, Canada had the 11th fairest judicial system in the world as of 2003, above the UK and the USA.

And all of these wonderful services are delivered with the utmost dishonesty at the bargain price of 3x what they should cost!
