We can fix without eliminationg the regulation. For example, make certification processes free for all and pay the cost with a separate tax on the industry as a whole.
I remarked back when the dot.com bubble burst (I wasn't the only one to make this observation) that if TV and Radio advertisers started demanding that people "click through" or even sit there and watch the ad rather than channel surf, go to the bathroom or grab a soda those industries would also collapse.
Ten years ago at age 18 I switched to a diet of almost entirely fast food and canned soda. I was 6' 135lbs at the time. I am now...140. My job has me sitting on my ass 9 hours a day and my predominant hobby is D&D making me rather sedentary. Anecdotal evidence obviously, but just as relevant scientifically as this study.
They coulda done a much better job avoiding the continuity errors (especially from TOS to TNG, really you go from NX-2000 to the NCC-50000s in 80 years?)
If a company has an idea for a weapon they think will be super-awesomes why don't they spend the cash to R&D it and when/if it is successful they can start offering it out. Can we stop blowing cash on stupid crap that won't work like jet packs and laser rifles?
I feel like Ferengi law would not have copyrights or patents. Companies would rely on DRM and proprietary stuff to try to keep customers locked in. Meanwhile the competition would use reverse engineering and industrial espionage.
If Antarctica was connected physically to south America or Australia (or both) it could possibly be ice free and get a jetstream like effect from the south pacific.
And rightfully so, the Constitution was specific about what is the responsibility of the Federal government. Anything else was the responsibility of the state governments. If we as a nation truly want the Federal government to take over healthcare it should be going through the amendment process. Half the nation isn't interested in that though, so it's just easier to push it through with bribes/promises to congressman and then have the Supreme Court violate their oath.
The UK had a system like this, but have been dismantling it over the course of the last 100 years stripping power from the monarchy and the house of lords.
Likely the only empire to ever commit suicide.
They should meet Barbara Streisand. I am betting taking it down and killing what little credibility the petition system had will only increase coverage.
For us Of Mice and Men was summer reading and amounted to a single test at the beginning of the yeat. Our English classes were roughly 25% literature and 75% research papers. I was an A/B student when I bothered to do the work but damn when I got into college knowing how to write a good persuasive essay and cite sources gave me a huge advantage.
Our school district had an awful history program (good luck finding a US public school that doesn't), but I am quite happy with our English program.

Its not real, if they are removing posts it is being done quietly. On that note been a while since I saw that Golden Girls crap.

Not China's first powerful navy.

Thanks. Reminds me of Macross2 =P
Still, reading through it the idea still seems sound so long as the government doesnt go and sabotage the whole thing 10 years in.

Or possibly the reverse, storing memories of important events or entire lives for future generations.r
That is why I said threaten to. They would never have to back it up.
If the EU really wants to force the issue, google can just threaten to withdraw from Europe. We will see how well that goes over with the people.
How? Does it jump up and catch them?
I think the pluto express would have done that, but it was canned.
Yes but they'll be very short at least!
It is called being cross dominant.
I was worried for a moment. I would love for this to go again with a new judge and jury. -Posted from Galaxy Tab 10.1
I hope we send his ashes there at the very least.
Even if the app is locked so you can't disable it, I know on my tablet I can disable GPS from the notification bar
Antarctica is isolated weather wise due to the Antarctic Current.
If Antarctica was connected physically to south America or Australia (or both) it could possibly be ice free and get a jetstream like effect from the south pacific.
You assume the father is of majority age.
