Talking from the other side, Dell laptops are not as good as they used to be. I know people in college (mid-size state college), and of the computers with connection problems, ALL of them were Dell computers. No, not the odd Macintosh, or the no-name. Dell.
I'd like to hear from other people's experience about Dell laptops; are they as bad as the college kids report? Or is it something that the college is doing that whacks out the Dells?
The only people that could think that they are the same joke are those that have not read the joke, or have not seen the MP sketch. Around here the latter number is nearly zero, so you people need to RTFA.
Wait, another joke talked about drinking, so the MP sketch about Bruces must be a blatant rip-off, also. Zheesh.
Here's the real catch: If you have never heard "Ridin' Dirty" and you love "White and Nerdy," do yourself a favor and spend a little time listening to the original... then listen to WAY's version -- he bases so much on the original, using similar phrases and rhymes, that you will be amazed all over again.
Do you have to hear the original to appreciate the parody? No. However, the real craft that WAY brings to the table (that other parodists miss) is getting very very close to the original, either in sound (timing, instrumentation, etc.) or wording (e.g. words that rhyme with the original words).
Try it, try it, you will see, you will like it, yes, indeed!
With the new US airport security, it doesn't matter what your combination is. If you lock your luggage, they'll just break it to look inside if they need / want to.
I used to "lock" my suitcase just so it would have a little harder time accidentally opening. Now I have to leave everything unlocked.
Transistor density has been doubling every 24 months (I recall it being quoted as 18 months, but we would be arguing semantics) for as long as I can remember. In 10 years, that's 2**5, or 32 times denser than it is right now. And you think the computer you have now will run anything remotely close to what is running then? You won't even be able to load the operating system.
Think back 10 years ago (1996), what was the "hot computer" filled with? The original Pentium, probably running at a blazing 66MHz?
Next let's quote Bill Gates, "640K should be enough for anyone."
Pffft! I know about this program, it is not even CLOSE to "the best" spyware finder out there. It is bug-ridden and doesn't find as much as the other two leaders (Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy).
I have a friend who bought it simply because it was recommended at Best Buy. He uninstalled it and threw it out because of the problems he had with it. If Best Buy didn't push it as "the best" (I think it is like a store-brand), it would have died a long time ago.
I rank it up there with Packard Bell computers -- if you know someone who has it, you know to stay away from it. Sorry if some of you are big Packard Bell fans, but the few people that I knew that got a PB computer were very disappointed.
Ok. You're a MMORPG or Morrowind-type person, right?
(1) Point conceded. Do you have a better way of keeping people away from places they aren't supposed to be, or are you advocating that all games should be Daggerfall / Morrowind?
(2) It's this way in most RPG games. You didn't even mention that enemies are carrying money and valuable jewels!
(3) Did you experiment with the helper character AI? You can make them fight someone other than the enemy you are fighting ("team battle" I think?).
(4) I don't remember too many fetch quests here. It was mainly that you can't even see a world until you beat this other world -- because you haven't opened the path with your keyblade.
(5) I agree, some of the voice actors are really just actors, and don't seem to relate well to the "demands" of being a voice actor, where people have to *hear* you emoting.
Re: synthesis moogle - of course you didn't have stuff, because you didn't try to collect everything. I felt that most of the synthesis was for the completists, who would run around for hours just to collect a weapon that was dropped by a book.
KH2 seemed to want to wrap everything up as it went along, instead of a few climax scenes -- FF7 comes to mind, with a few key scenes that really stick in your head. And yes, KH3 was left wide open, just like KH1 had an ending that hinted at a larger story (the "dive" video). I guess they are taking lessons from book writers, who include chapter 1 at the end of a book to draw you into the next book.
Yeah, that's my favorite. Because I always find some obfuscation to be eschewing on. Keeps my mental jaws busy.

Amen to that!

That, my good sir, is sheer (comedic) genius. You could be the next George Carlin (that's pronounced, "dead comedian").

Wait, I didn't finish level 19 yet. You mean there's no cake?
I hope I just missed your <sarcasm> ... </sarcasm> tags.
Ever hear of Moore's Law?
