PC shooters. Half-Life 2; Battlefield 2; FarCry; Unreal Tournament; the whole of the slew of games that were well-designed for PCs. Halo in my eyes was simply well-designed for a console. Short of Goldeneye, nobody had ever made a really successful console shooter.
Those damn commies are everywhere! First MA, now TX! Next thing you know, there will be abortions for all and sex in the streets!
We cannot let things like this happen!

Y'know, Wii/DS inter-connectivity was one of the things I was really waiting for, but never got at E3. However, this announcement hardly excites me at all. I would rather see this used for games that operate across the two platforms rather than mere content delivery.

By this token, Sony could pretend to make a new console, hype it up, and never ship it! They would rake in loads of cash!
I was particularly amused about how the icon for GEMS was a giant hand gripping the world. It isn't suttle at all.
