    Instead they're in every CCTV/IP camera on the planet and have this massive AI that is able to track you every hour of every day and distinguish victim from perpetrator, but everyone ends being irrelevant because facebook only want to know the brand of toothpaste you use.

    Minecraft actually runs at a much higher resolution.
    It's the textures that lack bilinear filtering.

    If anything, movies about really popular game franchises are generally the ones that bomb the hardest, given those kind of games are centered on their gameplay rather than story, which puts the director, writer etc.. in a really bad pickle, and we end with things like Super mario the movie.

    This is just sweeping the problem under the rug, instead of you know, solving it.
    All they will achieve is to push the extremists to less known and encrypted places, and make em a lot harder to watch for or infiltrate.

    When you get an highly politicized media forcing a side and pushing and shaming people for not taking it, you may end alienating a large portion of the population and making em disobey you, even when you're pushing for the right decision.
    And i bet at least in part, people just voted to leave because the creepy manipulative forceful thing they can't truly trust told em to vote to stay.

    I think most boys when they dream of being a game developer, they dream of being Shigeru Miyamoto, not some random mobile developer.
    And as such, girls should aspire as be as big as Ms.Williams, because well, besides the fact we need another of those because the game industry is stagnant as hell, it's a much more glorious dream.

    There are several more important female game developers that could serve as a model like Carol Shaw (probably one of the first female game programmers, that had to deal with the hell that is programming for the atari 2600) , Roberta Williams (Basically invented the point & click genre and had such influence on the gaming in general that PC gaming probably would not exist as it is today without her influence), Corine Yu (Worked directly on Direct3D, and its quite likely you're reading this text thru her work, given the fact windows aero uses D3D to compose the windows etc..)...
