    How the frack is this a blow to Microsoft? I thought he switched from Linux to MacOS (and by extension Mac hardware).
    I guess that's why he was amazed by having a laptop that had a working sleep/wake and WiFi. Many Linux distros are still terrible to this day on many laptops.

    At some point, someone needs to interact with the system, and the system needs to interact with the devices it controls. So, in theory, these systems cannot be completely isolated.
    Also, consider that if these systems were isolated with a pure vacuum, it may make the universe fly apart!

    These inbred, idealistic, heretical politicians do not understand the difference between truth and faith.
    You do not see the Roman Catholic Church (or many other organized religious organizations) have a problem with teaching science as a science and religion as a religion. The schools of higher learning, run by these religious organizations, openly teach the concepts of evolution as a science without interference.
    So, why can't the Missouri legislators get their act together and leave science to the scientists and religion to the clergy?
    So much for separation of church and state. Freedom of religion includes freedom from religion (after all, every set contains the null set). State mandated hokum being posited as science is an abuse of faith and science.

    There are many calendars used around the world. How many official state new year's holidays are needed?
    What about the Indian, Jewish, old Russian, Kurdish, or the many other New Year's holidays around the world?
    A country only needs one.
