Not really, no. The water levels are low for reasons other than global warming. The aquifer is nearly depleted due to overuse and drought. None of those is directly related to climate change. The depletion is definitely due to humans, however. The river should also be fed be aquifer. It isn't. We used the water to grow food and lawns.
I get that they want to put on a good show, but it's not like they actually have the votes to accomplish a damned thing without help from the other side of the aisle. I don't see Republicans actually supporting this idea. It just seems rather unlikely.
No. It's prison. They're in prison for a botched bank robbery. They were caught taking a few cents from thousands of accounts, over a period of 2.6 years. They were sentenced to 18 years in a federal penitentiary, so they'll be out soon.
In current discourse, asking for a citation is frowned upon. It is not limited to one set of political ideologies. No, I am not sure when the rhetoric changed. No, I don't know how to fix it.
I kinda want to take the bet they offered in the summary. I don't even know where my phone is. I think I left it in the car. I don't tend to carry it with me. I have no apps other than what came with it. It does push email, I think.
I'll be able to get a bit more of a pulse, in the next couple of weeks. I intend to ask a few people about it and I belong to a business association, which should give me some insight. I've never really considered it.
Where I live, to be a bit more specific, there is no town. Literally, I do not live in a town. I live in an unincorporated township - there's six residences that are occupied all year. There's a number of camps. There's no postal service, no stores, no anything. I like it...
However, there's a 10k population town about 1.25 hours from here. So, that's where my information will come from. If you remember, feel free to ask me about it. I'll *try* to remember to share what I find with you, if you want. I'm really quite curious.
LOL I don't really have a local fast food place. I'd have to travel for a bit over an hour, or longer when the weather is rough.
I have partial ownership of some franchises. They're located in small towns that are south of me. One of the problems that the other owner laments is the lack of applications. They are donut and sandwich places and he's complaints about a lack of applicants - and even offers well above minimum wage.
Another friend has a metal fabrication shop, and has plenty of applications. I'm not sure of the numbers - but I can find out a bit more.
I dunno? Your guess seems logical. I have absolutely no idea if it's correct - and I'm not even sure it's correct in my region. It does make me curious. I'll have to ask around.
I've been pondering something, off and on, since I posted that comment. I'm very happily retired. I do have partial ownership in a couple of franchises. I also have a bit of business that I'm still involved in. However, I kinda want to go get a job for a little while. I'd worry about the ethics - as I'd be taking a job that someone else would find more beneficial. I'm in a fortunate place where I am financially secure. I already volunteer. Hmm...
I'm too old, now. I used to perform, but it wasn't that fancy. Either way, the answer is, "Groupies and blow."
One of the great things about playing in bars is that even the drummer can get laid.
Have patience. They'll change it, wanted or not.

Umm...
I'm pretty stoned. I'm not that stoned.
I am kinda sure I should say sorry to you. That's not because you're right, it's because you're deluded.
What did the last group do? What did they cement so that it can't be broken with ease?
I am sorry that you felt obligated to respond with that. That's the best I can offer you. In my defense, I only get one vote.

No, I'm unavailable. You can call and leave a message, if you want. I'm going fishing.

Someone should write a fanfic.
Bullshit.
They hated it long before Trump ran for office.
Good. Now quit bitching.

I am so stealing that.

I am retired. I am unavailable for work. You can't even make me go to work.
You probably shouldn't count me. I haven't even put pants on - for two days.

Maybe they are in prison, caught for an earlier crime.
That's my wild theory, and I'm sticking to it.
It has also been a regular post, since before you joined.
And they say we're uncluttered heathens!
Did Turnbull figure out how the defy math yet?
"These people," are the government. What are you on about?
Nova special, entitled something like Murder of Crows. It's interesting. YouTube has it.
Oh, the irony.
Why would you think that?

Wouldn't 1 be the same as 0001?
