Not really, no. The water levels are low for reasons other than global warming. The aquifer is nearly depleted due to overuse and drought. None of those is directly related to climate change. The depletion is definitely due to humans, however. The river should also be fed be aquifer. It isn't. We used the water to grow food and lawns.
I get that they want to put on a good show, but it's not like they actually have the votes to accomplish a damned thing without help from the other side of the aisle. I don't see Republicans actually supporting this idea. It just seems rather unlikely.

Where I live, to be a bit more specific, there is no town. Literally, I do not live in a town. I live in an unincorporated township - there's six residences that are occupied all year. There's a number of camps. There's no postal service, no stores, no anything. I like it...
However, there's a 10k population town about 1.25 hours from here. So, that's where my information will come from. If you remember, feel free to ask me about it. I'll *try* to remember to share what I find with you, if you want. I'm really quite curious.

They are donut and sandwich places and he's complaints about a lack of applicants - and even offers well above minimum wage.
Another friend has a metal fabrication shop, and has plenty of applications. I'm not sure of the numbers - but I can find out a bit more.

I also have a bit of business that I'm still involved in. However, I kinda want to go get a job for a little while. I'd worry about the ethics - as I'd be taking a job that someone else would find more beneficial. I'm in a fortunate place where I am financially secure. I already volunteer. Hmm...
