you could do the same thing by strapping on weights to yourself, set up so that the weight distrabution is the same as "normal". or alternatively, they could just do normal resistance/weight training with more weights... maybe run with some sandbags strapped to the legs. its really a lot simplier that way.
i doubt it. if we ever go belly up, we're bound to leave a lot of crap lying around unless people have managed to nuke every city and burn every book. i mean, rome got sacked, and there was still a bunch of stuff left over to rediscover (including a giant hill of trash). although the media we use to store stuff is more easily lost than say stone tablets (i'm talking physical stuff here... paper and photos and what nots), the amount of copies we have now almost guarantees that there will be enough left for whoever survives.
justice would also be the son going to jail for the mugging. and i think the whole cops fired thing is uhhh, well, maybe they were within 50 yards but couldnt hear anything? i mean, if the guy did ask the police to leave several times politely, i doubt they could hear it from 50 yards away.
and if a DA deserves a bullet to his head for that, then surely every criminal deserves a bullet to their head for whatever they did. i mean, they weren't elected king after all, but rather to not break the law and that is not being now is it?
well, from what i remember from reading around, the us marine corp is working on using stuff like E15 and what not in bases in the us. then theres the whole thing bout having tanks and what nots running on electricity posing a problem because of battery recharge times. i mean, sure they could probably just arrange for entire batterys to be swapped, but i imagine thats somewhat manpower/time consuming, as opposed to sticking in a hose.
one of the wonderful things about magic is that its not as fast changing as other card games. cards stay "powerful" or "usefull" for longer, especially when you compare it to other games such as say... yugioh.
