    This DST2007 thing has been a real pain in my ass. I know that the US government hates to admit failure, so we won't leave Iraq and we won't back off on DST2007... wish we would though. It has caused a lot of problems.

    not quite as many problems as the Iraq thing has caused.......

    i read it somewhere so its not my idea, but why not have the filling stations do the recharging and they lift out your battery and drop a fully charged one in its spot? i am sure universal battery sizes could be worked out.

    Or electric cars could have a "universal" battery size and the filling stations would keep spare charged batteries on hand and simply lift your discharged one out and drop a fully charged one in using some sort of little crane device...I read about this idea somewhere but can't remember where.
