lol he did say "hard" XD I wonder if the teens said "We found a flaw in myspace. But in order for you to know what this flaw is, we want you guys to pay up". Because that it self seems like freelancing. If that is what happened I bet the myspace lawyers thought it would be easyer to make it seem as a threat because I heard that is exactly what microsoft does. I doubt that is the case though, i think they were hackers just wanting quick money and did actually use threats. Microsoft will sue you if you tell the public about a flaw that they wont fix. Idiotic I know.

  3. we shouldn't pay on A DNA Database For All U.S. Workers? · · Score: 1

We shouldn't be the ones who pay for criminals and illegal acts. Someone's full DNA is basically the entire person. Once there is a loophole, a leak, or some sort of disturbance, people will be able to create identity theft even easier with new technologies in DNA. Not to mention being capable of cloning humans and maknig that human a fake pretending to be you. Sure, somebody can take a sample of your DNA at any time and use it for whatever but only if this requirement comes to pass. Right now it doesn't matter if somebody has your DNA (unless its that girl from last night) because they can't really do anything with it. But later down the road when we use our DNA for Identity and stuff, it will become more dangerous, identity theft in meaning. There are other ways to prevent illegal immigrants and this should only be left as the last resort because spotting an illegal here is much easyer then scanning people's DNA. We shouldn't need to shed blood for a criminal.

Can they read morse code? ;] I question if the sun is really necessary for life on another planet. There is another world deep underneath the ocean where fish, crustations, and such live without light and can survive at extreme cold and hot temperatures. Pluto might even have some sort of life on there but it's a shame that we don't already know since it _is_ in our solar system.

  6. Re:Ummmm why? on MS Proposes JPEG Alternative · · Score: 1

Your right. Also this would be excellent for the next generation of websites. Current websites are limited to how graphical they can be because of the sheer file sizes that the gif, jpeg, and png files pose. It truly is a challenge for webdevelopers to overcome this and having to decide whether to go all the way or just half way. If microsoft can release a new image format that can be compressed half the size of a jpeg then i am all for it! You wouldn't believe how wonderful that would be and how big of a change it would make.

  7. it will still be pretty cheap on Nintendo Announces Japanese Wii Price · · Score: 2, Interesting

You know Nintendo... After the first few months there will be a price drop, then a few months after another drop and so on... I say it will be $249 USD at launch to clear out the early buyers and holiday season but afterwards it will probably go down by $20 and then by the time they reach 6 or 7million units they might even bring it down by another $20. That's my theory.

  8. copyright infringement on Bloggers are the New Plagiarism · · Score: 1

You guys raise good points although plagarism is to claim work that isn't yours, and copying something (under how many characters) without the concent of the author is copyright infringement. I'm not sure which one is worst, copyright infringement or plagarism? But apparently bloggers tend to infringe on copyrights for their own profit. Then again, if your sourcing out where you got that information, then you are actually promoting the other website so wouldn't it be a fair trade in many cases?
