So, my big concern is the part where you said he scans things from books and articles and so some of the PDFs might just be massive images, right? I don't think you're going to find systems with OCR built in so you might have quite the chore on your hands. If you don't have it electronically or if it's just an image electronically, you may have to implement some sort of process for getting a doc into this system so it can be searched, right? Look into GOCR [sourceforge.net] or Tesseract [linuxjournal.com] if this is the case.

When I was 17, my parents had an 15 year old female exchange student from Spain. My parents wanted a girl that could hang out with my little sister. My sister and Veronica (the exchange student) didn't get along very well, but they still did a few things together. I was in heaven to have such a hot girl always hanging around our house. And, the best part was that she always wore such skimpy clothes and even occasionally changed clothes without shutting the bedroom door. I caught a few glimpses of her in just her panties and bra. She had such a perfect body and dark smooth skin.

One day, my mom informed me that I would be taking my sister and Veronica to the mall. I hate the mall, but I agreed--mostly just to get the chance to walk around behind Veronica and stare at her perfect ass as she walked around the mall in the tight mini skirt she was wearing that day. When we got to the mall, my sister ran into a group of friends that she knew from school, and she took off leaving Veronica alone with me. I felt a bit uncomfortable, but Veronica said in her broken English that she needed to buy clothes. So, we went into JC Penney. I tagged along with her as she picked out some clothes and a swimsuit. Then she headed over to the dressing rooms. I sat down outside to wait for her. After a few seconds she came out in one of the outfits and asked how I liked it. I said she looked very beautiful, and she kinda blushed at that. Then she told me to come into the dressing room for a second. I asked her why, and she said she wanted to know if I liked the swimsuit, but she didn't want to have to walk out into the main part of the store to show me. So I stepped into the dressing room and she shut the door behind us. I thought she would ask me to turn around, but she didn't! She just started undressing right in front of me! I was getting so horny. I stared at her dumbfounded as she slipped off her blouse, skirt, then her bra and panties. She asked me if I liked her body and I think I managed to mutter yes. She bent over to pick up the swimsuit and I had a perfect view of her soft pussy mound. I noticed that it was glistening a bit with drops of fluid. I wondered if she was horny for me. I brushed my hand against her ass as she was standing up and she turned and smiled at me. Then I knew it was my opportunity. I grabbed her arm gently and turned her around and pulled her body towards me. We started kissing passionately and I touched every part of her naked body I could reach. She slipped my shirt off over my head and I felt her wonderful breasts press against my chest. I turned her around so that I could massage her breasts and finger her pussy while I kissed her neck from behind. She seemed to really enjoy that. Before long my pants were off and I let my hard cock slide between her butt cheeks. She bent over slightly and directed my cock towards the wet mound between her legs. I felt the head of my dick penetrate about an inch into her and I almost came right away. But I held back and slowly thrusted until my whole cock was buried in her damn tight pussy.

She kept saying, "Yes...mas...yes...mas!" And I knew I was about to climax. So I reached around and grabbed the front of her thighs and humped her as hard as I could. I nearly lifted her off the ground as I thrusted into her. The feeling of her ass ramming against my inner thighs was the best! And, I came deep into her pussy.

We kissed a lot more and finally cleaned up to leave the dressing room. I found out that she was a virgin too before that day. But, she had fucked herself with cucumbers back in Spain so she would experience no pain on her first time. That summer turned out to be the best summer ever. We taught each other everything about oral sex, anal sex, toys, and mutual masturbation. WOW!

Yeah, I post as an AC these days. You should really check my profile. I can't tell you how many modpoints I have wasted over the past couple of years. If you make a relevant comment, they mod you down. If you say something with no backing or is controversial or is a response to the first post, you automatically are five'd. With this account, I trolled very happily and got probably somewhere from -30 karma to 10 or 20 or 30 or somewhere around there because I went from terrible, trolled a bunch of 5's, got to bad, then negative, then neutral, then good, then excellent. In a matter of TWENTY minutes, some douche "discovered" me, and my karma was knocked down from excellent to terrible. Not bad of a feat.

Call me bored, but I am really just a disillusioned guy that hates the common lack of understanding on so many subjects and infinite number of logical fallacies. If I get mods to mod down some pointless posts, they are less able to mod down posts that matter and might have the stigma that they need to mod up some posts with those points. The whole Slashdot system is flawed, and the editors are morons. Stories with blatantly inaccurate topics are accepted without a glance; summaries with spelling, grammatical, and spelling errors are posted without a thought. This especially goes out to those like kdawson, who is the worst of all. I was modded +3 and possibly +4 on a troll comment that I made here about kdawson before he corrected the article and undoubtedly modded me down--it is a troll comment that still stands at 1, Informative.

I might spew a bunch of garbage 100% of the time, but I have to keep this site's real-world karma balanced. This isn't journalism. Think about that for a bit.

Wah. Why shouldn't Google put their own products first? Name me one other company that wouldn't do the same thing.
I work in the accounting department.

I haven't heard the entire story, but there is a LARGE amount of controversy in the planning/development departments about how "fair" to be the market. Some of the managers want to be more corporate with the Google cause. Most of the developers want to keep it as it has been: fair.

The developers *know* that they can come out with the best products out there--a mixture of "something that works" and "something new"--two "mottos" that I hear a lot, even in my department. So, they can put out the best product, and they can put it side-by-side with competitors, and it is no question what the end-user will pick. Google, of course!

We have these managers who have no trust in the "lower downs," and the result is this. Trying to keep possible competition out even when we are the best. I believe that this is a deep flaw, possibly the hamartia that could bring us down. After thirty years working at Barclays, I will tell you this. I do not like to see how things are going.

Having worked in the UK for Barclay's for thirty years, I know a bit about the banking industries. It's not all as much about "convenience" as it is easiness. If something takes five minutes to do but just involves a bunch of clicking, it typically doesn't bother your pigeon account holder. Just as long as he gets his spending money fairly quickly.

We performed a study on customers, varying the waiting period in various transactions for receiving their money. For most online-based purchases, users didn't mind waiting up to thirty minutes. We attributed this to either indifference or anticipation that having money was "just around the corner." This resulted in flexibility for services that we could provide. We even considered adding a PayPal-like variant to our services portfolio, but we were afraid that this could be a fluke; we bailed out.

I believe that with PayPal being so deeply-rooted in the online finance business (read, PayPal is NOT a bank), this little venture will take off like a Saturn V rocket with a barrage of strapon scramjets.

There is a lot of enforcement against spam out there that never makes the news. The Taiwanese actually regard the US very highly and want to keep up their image, so they are actively pursuing ways of crippling the spammers. There's a good bit of reading here and a bit more about politics here. Be careful what you say about the Taiwanese. They are undeserving of merely being called spammers.

Not only do you get to destroy the RFID, but you can still use the passports that are being released from here on out and are the only way to get in or out of the country. This means that we have an option to keep passports as they used to be, a little less like cattle ear tags.
