Nothing has really changed though. This was T-Mobile's policy in the past and around 8 months ago they opened up the ports on their $5.99 T-Mobile web plan. Before, they only allowed access to port 8080 and port 25 (I think port 25... not sure though). They just reinstated the old policy. Never stopped me before. It's shockingly easy to set up the T-Mobile proxy to port 8080 and it's a quick bypass. It's really not that big a deal.
"...and could kill the Web as we know it."
Oh come on! Isn't that exaggerating a tad? Obviously with some browser patches and more secure server code, the problem is solved. Gotta love sensationalism!
Yeah, I live in Colorado Springs and they started to test the system as it was snowing. What really was awful was that the lock on our screen door jammed the day previous so I was locked out of my house!
Exactly, it was immune because you could never keep the darn thing running. Though there was a bright side... I made quite a bit of money fixing Windows ME machines.
Its about time! The wii limited us to throwing the remote into the TV. Now the playing field is much more open!

Damn, I thought if the countless articles on Britney Spears' party habits didn't kill the Internet, nothing would.
