They have a plan that is just over 2000 sqft. With the main level being only 1024sqft. It would be hard to make a house like that any smaller, because it requires a level in ground to get the geothermal affect. It is a really cool concept to bad it is way out of my price range anytime soon. That is also the reason I think they have the 6000sqft houses, the people who can afford the new tech, can afford and are used to having large houses.

All us have been switching over and have saved quite a bit. My Dad says he saves $6 a month with just 2 bulbs. I proposed a tax on incandecant bulbs, $1 bulb. The proceeds of the Tax go to lowering the price of energy efficiant bulbs and R&D for other energy saving tech like solar, wind, tidal and others.

The problem now is people aren't informed or just buy whatever is cheapest when they need it. If the energy efficiant bulbs cost less then the old bulbs, people would buy the more efficiant bulbs just to save the money at the register.

From Hardcore, to alt rock, to Punk Rock, they even play Detroit Hip Hop.

I think they do have a strategy in mind for this beta and I don't think it is webhosting. I think this is just a test of how well they can handle server side applications. I can see them ramping up the features and making it more robust, maybe even the ability to create PDF's or a format like that. I think this is there test for an online Word processor with all your files online and editable and emailable from any browser. I think this is Googles first step at real web based applications.

I wouldn't be suprised if the Office for Mac 5 year deal included a deal to make sure Virtual PC ran almost as fast as a PC. It's a matter of risk, and talent. I agree that people that put in more time and have more education should get more money, but it doesn't work that way. You also have to consider the risk, many people can be programmers because the work can be learned and there is a huge need for programmers. Actors, sports players and other less needed jobs take a leap of faith that they are good enough to beat out all the other people that want the "easy money" job. Truth is most don't make it because there is a limited market for those fields. If those professions didn't have high pay rates few would take the risk of not having work for years at a time to find a job. Just check out Wil Wheaton's site and look at the shit he had to go through because of his desicion to choose a career that it very hard do find work in even with talent.

My final point.... you could have done the same thing as the Simpson's voice actors...talked funny and get paid big, you just took the path with less risk going for a job that has more demand.

A Blue tooth standard quite zone spec would be great for cell phones. With options on the phone to set the quiet zone settings to either vibrate or silent. Maybe even an indicator for quite zone on the phone itself.

Showtimes is just cool, it puts movie times in a database you can search on your Palm for movies playing in any area you configure.

MyCheckbook has saved me a bunch of money because I actualy keep track of my ATM/Checking account and know exactly what I have and don't have to worry about keeping reciepts around and entering them in some spread sheet later.

Diet and Exercise Assistant has helped me lose weight, because it lets me do the one proven thing to loose weight, lower calorie intake. It makes counting calories doable, before the Palm it was a pain in the ass and I never when for more than a couple days before giving up.

It was bad memory. I even took memory from another computer and that worked fine. I called Dell support and it took them close to an hour to agree with me, after I told them it was bad memory and I had a good stick and the computer booted fine.

But here is the important part if you run out of fuel it only takes a few minutes to get more. Not to mention the cars have different perposes the TZero is more of a proof of concept the Ferrari is a toy for the rich that like to go very fast and impress people.

Of course this brings up the biggest problem with electric cars. The problem isn't speed or range as much as it is charging time. If someone could come up with a way to charge the batteries in 5 minutes or less then electric cars would be all over the place.

No one wants to go 301 miles and have to wait 4 hours for the car to charge to keep going, and no one wants to wake up late for work and realize they forgot to plug the car in last night and they may not have the juice to get to work.
