The reason this works is because XNA games are written in C#. The.NET environment then JITs the code to native on the target system (Windows, Xbox, Zune, etc.) All the hardware interaction parts are written into the platform-specific side of the.NET framework.
I know AT&T's not touching anything (at least yet) when it comes to throttling. I've been using them for about four years now and haven't noticed issues once with running Bittorrent, even when I've left it open for days.
But my internet is up to 6Mb/s, with a minimum of 3Mb/s. I assume it's sold this way due to DSL being DSL, but it doesn't change the fact that there is an explicitly written 3Mb/s minimum.
I'd expect to get that minimum consistently, if nothing else. I'm not sure about contract text, but it's not some floating 0-6Mb/s range.
I'd be willing to bet that where he works uses Macs, so it's easier to get software that runs on the machines they already have, instead of having to run Linux on all of them, or buy new machines?
They're in/home/Username/Pictures/, probably. On Vista it's in C:\Users\Username\Pictures\ which is a lot better than XP (C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Pictures\).
Also, when you drag and drop, it's up to both the program you're dragging from and the program you're dropping into, to handle it correctly. At least in Windows. So it's not Windows' job, at least.
I like this idea. A while ago, I was looking at ordering SD cards for work on Newegg. Buying one was about $1 shipping via USPS. Buying 8? $5, by USPS. What came in the box? Eight full size retail SD card packages, a lot of bubble wrap, and the box itself was about four times bigger than all the card boxes. If it were just the little plastic cases the cards came in (which is all you ever need anyway), they could have still stuffed them all in an envelope for a buck.
Linux, IIS, MSSQL and Prolog? No wonder!
What? I thought that movie was about the innovations in user interface!
Because nobody wants a LAPP stack, that just sounds silly.
Have you tried BitPim?
Apparently during E3 when the 360 was first coming out, companies were demoing their games on G5 towers.

No, no, he must have been talking about XFree86.
The meters actually do run backwards when you put power back into the grid.
Then you'd never hear it ring!
I think the problem is that "unlimited" isn't wrapped in quotation marks by the ISPs until it's too late.

Your lowercase letter in VoIP got moved over one. Voice over IP.
When you write it like VOiP it reminds me of the robot from Homestar Runner.

They did in the Half-Life 1 era, they use Perforce now.
Except for all these 'Ride a pony!' apps requests my friends keep sending me..
They may as well have put 'would you kindly' in front of it.
I'm pretty certain the text in the Constitution explicitly states the government can't do that.
Clearly they don't have a technology agenda, yet? *ducks*

Not if you don't compile it with them!
He must be using Visual Basic, it's the only one I can think of that supports 'if then' statements, as well as a single = for equality checks.
Service Pack 3 does indeed enable WPA2 and AES support.
Usually unprotected audio files have m4a, whereas video files have mp4 or m4v.
