I ride my bike from and to work everyday (about 3 kilometres, 2 miles) even when it is -20 to -30 degrees Celsius outside and 10-20 centimeters of snow. Stop complaining.

I wasn't getting agressive, I was just pointing out that the article should have mentioned is was Windows-only. The trend is pretty pointless if it will be only in Media Player format always.

Isn't it pretty pointless reporting this on Slashdot? The filme is pretty useless for the most of us as it requires IE 5 and Media Player to be viewed.
An interesting way to look at things. However, Americans are pretty used to hearing stories about people getting jailed for being in the kind of small, powerless political parties that Americans have a long history of mocking without mercy for being ineffectual and unprofessional.
Americans go to jail for having sex before 18. And you talk about freeedom. My ass.

I only got about 1.5 megabyte per second from my CD-ROM.
Yeah, but well... I began working on this with the rule of not using any Java or Javascript at all to maintain compability with for example Lynx and other browsers. And also Java in any form sucks so...:-)
I am making a web based file manager you might want to look at. It is pretty extensive already. New stuff being added as we speak. http://www.edlund.org/projects/drall/

Around 80-100 per week.
Actually I am glad I don't live in America as I enjoy my freedom. I live in Sweden.

I got a 155mbit connection.
It is faster to install via FTP than from my 24x CD-ROM, and I guess DVD is not much faster either. I'll remain an FTP installer.
It's free... :-)
I am not in any US personal registers. :-)
Only in North America (USA and Canada). The rest of the world uses the ISO standard, A4.
*yawn* As I am not a US citizen this doesn't worry me too much right now.
Linköping University, Sweden. Won't cost you a penny if you are a Swedish citizen.

Umm, this kind of show has been running in Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia for I think 3 or 4 years now...
