Just a question or two for you. No disrespect intended...perhaps just showing my ignorance on the subject. I read a lot of the related threads pretty thoroughly (insert Slashdot newbie joke here). In one thread the writer stated they wouldn't use OpenBSD for a production environment, maybe they might use FreeBSD. Are you planning on using your crypto accelerator in a production environment? Would your choice of OpenBSD be primarily because the OpenBSD crowd works so hard to support each other and their choice of OS?

I agree with you 95%. The computer was not the mastermind, it was a co-conspirator and necessary partner. I was not so clearly alluding to the more likely scenario of non earth colonies having to fight earth rather than other colonies.

By the time your kid is old enough to have a phone of their own they better have enough common sense/wisdom to stay out of serious trouble. Little things will come up occasionally of course but if they don't know enough to avoid the serious consequences from seriously bad actions then being able to track them by their cell phones probably won't help.

  7. graduation vs. diploma on Legal Actions of School Against a Proxy's Host? · · Score: 1

As far as I know any public/private school can prevent you from attending graduation for any infraction. Preventing you from actually receiving a diploma is another story entirely. Arguably, the infraction in this case could be "conspiracy" to violate school rules.
